For the love of Azeroth, Blizzard needs to stop with the unnecessary “QoL” changes that make life harder.
I don’t always want to be in flight form. I don’t need the game deciding for me when I should be in ground vs flight travel form. It’s only gotten more annoying with the flying mode.
Give us 2 buttons so that I can actually use the ground travel form when I want to use it.

ok guys, this is what Blizzard really needs to do:
Star Wars Stormtrooper outfit and a Speeder mount
is the closest thing we have to a Speeder, now just the Outfit.
This suggestion doesn’t fix the issue I am posting about.
Just pic up the mount tome.
Then you’ll have an extra button.
Incompatible with Cheetah.
WARNING: I have just spoken to a GM to ask to remove the new Stag Form ability from my character and they said it isn’t possible to remove it. The game indicates no warning about this becoming a permanent spell. There is no way to remove it currently, so think twice before you learn this and commit to it!
It literally just adds your ground travel form as an additional spell. This allows you to go into stag form even in areas where flying is permitted.
Using Vanishing Powder normally removes a glyph effect. However, this is a completely new spell and using Vanishing Powder on it does NOT remove the spell. I am unsure how to remove the spell currently.

To remove it, you’ll simply need to use another mark of some type (dreamstag, runestag, cheetah, ect.)
which brings us back full circle.
Whats needed is two travel form abilities. One for ground and another for air. Problem solved.

Which is backwards from the usual form take of “cut half of my buttons”
It does tho. You didn’t mention specifically cheetah form. That adds a second travel form button. Which you asked for. The only one it doesn’t work on is cheetah. Your entire argument is invalid because there are two buttons. Maybe make a post saying what you actually want because crying about wanting two buttons, when you can have two buttons, doesn’t make sense.
So don’t use cheetah. Problem solved.

In the scope of “things that need a solution, let alone a thread on the forum”, this ranks right down there with “there aren’t enough mankinis in wow” and “who let the dogs out? who, who?”
TBF, I have always preferred (and advocated for many time) seperate buttons for seperate forms (land, flight, & aquatic). So, I agree with you.
But, we’re telling you your only option in game to achieve seperate buttons.
I would also appreciate it if the travel forms were separated.
I hate it when the game decides what my character is doing.
That’s not an option.
Both the mankini issue and the issue of who be letting the dogs out are way more important than this.
We got screwed with the auto travel button. We spent forever telling them this. We had a megathread on it.
They ignored us.
There was no reason not to give us both the auto travel button and a dropdown like mage portals get, so that we could choose and macro or keybind as we saw fit.
You’re telling someone to lock themselves completely out of a druid form. That’s not “problem solved.”
