I already have to share my trees with Worgen, now I got to deal with other druids? Madness!
As an elf I understand the feeling that everything belongs to you, but I need you to consider the possibility that other races of druid might have their own trees unrelated to yours.
I still havent forgiven the orcs for cutting down OUR forest and Great Ancients.
Gnome druid models are easy! Just use the battle pet models. I have wanted this for YEARS!
I mean, if you want to RP your mechagnome hunter as a “druid” go nuts. I’ve seen more delusional characters in RP before.
His exact words were that some class/race combos won’t ever make sense like Mechagnome Druid and that if they are going to expand not for all but expand Druid, Shaman and Paladin race options the lore will need to make sense and justify it as well, just because you don’t like that it was said doesn’t mean it wasn’t said.
The rules are different for Druids, Shamans and Paladins and they should be, no one wants to see extremely silly combos from them.

Imagine dracthyr druids with 2 non mount forms that let them skyride.
You could use flight form or soar but I am pretty sure all drac druids would default to flight form. Just a funny thought.

Maybe go check the actual quote before you spout nonsense and look silly. Literally never once says it won’t happen, he says that there are narrative challenges and it’s difficult to imagine but never say never, and that there are no immediate plans.

So I’m still mostly right that they aren’t probably going to be for all or anytime soon and the more you people ask for it the the more it’s probably delayed out of spite so I stand by what I’ve said no one wants to see stupid combos.

…Yes? Do you not know how feedback works? Like do you genuinely believe tons of threads and discussion doesn’t impact change?
That’s not really how it works, feedback is when you actually get asked for it and they give you the chance to give what your thoughts and opinions are, this is something you already got told no to for the time being but figure somehow you can force them into doing it by being annoying.

I’m not a hardline lore player so ANY explanation no matter how thin, is acceptable to me. I’d love to make a mecha-gnome Druid. I also want undead Druids with glowing entrails that I can mog. Gimme more Druids and I will be happy-er!!

If you’re making a comparison between a race and an entire expansion, holy crap man. I better have an entire expansion DEDICATED how Mechagnomes could be Druids.
AN ENTIRE EXPANSION. And you’ll love it.
I feel like you missed the point I was making.
Nothing stops them from making lore one could consider “stupid”.
I wouldn’t object to an entire expansion about Mechagnome Transformers though, would be better than another expansion focused on what one of those damnable Windrunners are up to.
