Druids: Boomkin Rune

So do you guys think we are gonna get some kind of rune that augments the boomkin form to be actually good? Kinda hoping we get some spell hit and reduced mana cost on spells at least.

I’m thinking this is happening. Shadow form is getting mana efficiency. I think we will see the same treatment

nothing was datamined thankfully. the less we’re forced to be in that monstrosity, the better.

I disagree. The final talent point in the balance tree should be something you want to experience MORE.

totally fine with playing as a big fat boomie, but glyph of stars as like a scroll you could find somewhere would be cool too for ppl that don’t like the look.

I’d love to see a hit chance, lmc 25% (if it replaces the free wrath if not a 50 mp5), maybe a global cd reduction or a frenzy on X amount of casts of a specific spell.

idk but honestly i hope so. outside of Starsurge i oom pretty fast im guessing it would be more crit related though cause doesn’t the 1 talent proc off crits to regen mana or something

No, it does not. We get a cast time reduction with crits and moonkin use to restore mana from melee hits, but I don’t see it on the tooltip. I guess that was tbc or something.

I think my big problem with Moonkin is that a 3% crit aura hinges so much on math and numbers. The razor’s edge for 3% group crit making Moonkin worth it vs. Moonkin outshining other casters is incredibly thin. Your own utility hinges so much on luck, and also on the performance of your group. Crit is also minimally useful, it’s more or less just for mages and elemental shamans, which alliance don’t even have. It’s also just, honestly, not very fun. I know “spellfury” as been memed to death, but it would be cool if the utility offered by Moonkin didn’t feel so flimsy to really justify the loss of half of our spellbook. Intuitively the aura for half your spellbook just doesn’t feel like a great trade. Imagine if paladin auras removed half their spells. It’s just weird.
