Druids and their Travel forms, say no to Stag form

After having Kul’Tiran/Zandalari druids introduced in the game I can’t help but appreciate the fine work Blizzard is putting into Druids, especially their allied race counter parts.

So far we have seen Highmountain transform into Eagles, Moose, and their Moonkin forms even have Moose anters.

Kul’Tiran Transform into wicker looking creatures.

Zandalari have an entirely new Boomkin form, along with a Raptor travel form and Dino flight form.

As happy as I am for these newer Druid races, I can’t help but feel forgotten as an original race. Yes, I am fully aware that Trolls (like myself) have received several model updates as well through out the years, (colorful forms, and Bat form) but to be frank some forms just completely ruin the immersion.

I’m talking about a Troll druid turning into a damn STAG! In all honesty this should only be given to Night elves.

Blizzard, please give Darkspear trolls the same travel form as Zandalari, but perhaps change the color? While we are at it, I would love to see our Moonkins actually have Tusks’s so we can also have our own unique look.

Highmountain turn into a Moose, I can only hope Blizzard one day actually adds a Bull model in the game so Legacy Tauren can become bulls.

Anyone else have other ideas? Personally I think Worgen Druid travel forms should allow them to use their Racial mount (Running Wild) but simply instant cast. I would also think Worgen should have an option to bear tank in simply their worgen form instead of bear (heard this idea long ago).

I really hope you haven’t forgotten us older druids :frowning: Please enhance the Druid experience and immersion for all of us.

I told them about that years ago when it first happened. I told them how in the pre CATA event, literally Gonk was the one that taught us how to be druids so we should turn into raptors. An easy fix would just be to reskin the Zandalari travel form. But, I always used the glyph thing to make myself into a cheetah/leopard and yelled for Har’koa to give me her form. It was the best self-fix I could come up with for years.

Glyph it. Problem solved. My Tauren druid runs as a Chetah.

For me that doesn’t solve the issue.

  1. That Cheetah form has a 2004 model, it’s hideous. I’d rather use the new Stag model.

  2. Cheetah’s don’t fit the fantasy for Darkspears. Atleast not as well as a Raptor.

To add on, I’d love if they updated the cheetah form. As a travel form it’s great, but the current one is still at vanilla quality. It could use an update.

If they updated the Cheetah model, I would easily use it over Stag.

Ahh I gotcha. I can’t stand the stag. Course don’t play the Tauren anymore either sok there is that.

Honestly, the glyph system needs to take a rewind back, far as I remember I can’t have both a Orca form AND Cheetah form. That might be my issue here.

I like the idea that each race has a unique form for Druids.

Rather than just copy the Zandalari forms onto the Darkspear I would much prefer if they came up with a unique form.

Especially considering that I turn into a darkspear raptor and not a ravasaur ;-;

Though tbh I think the stag works well enough for worgen if they didn’t think a wolf would. Their druidism is influenced by the nelves after all.

It’s fixed now, the travel forms are separate in the spell book

This is why my druid is a Highmountain Tauren. I love travel moose and can’t stand stag form.

You aren’t an original race. Night Elf and Tauren are the original two. You are just a monstrosity given to appease the masses.
