So, I’ve never done shadow priest or druid when raiding in vanilla. Does this change on the fresh servers help shadow priests become useful in raiding, or will they still be fairly meh?
I know oomkins still won’t really do too much because you can’t put up debuffs when out of mana, but does it change Feral Druids at all?
Removing the debuff limit does very little to actually improve DPS for classes which previously had to skip abilities, most abilities that were avoided provide a very slight DPS boost, however it does allow all classes to actually use their abilities without fear of bumping off a more important buff, so classes do get to use their entire rotations.
The change really should have been pushed to the Classic ERA servers.
Ah, fair—I just found a good post talking about that. Seems the “meta” doesn’t really change, but it’s just a really nice bonus for classes to be able to use their whole kit.

Yeah, some classes like locks really suffer under the limitation, and while it won’t make them powerhouses like warriors, simply giving them the ability to actually use their abilities is nice.
