if i get the 60 point mining knowledge skill that allows mining while mounted, does that allow me as a druid to mine while staying in druid flight form like i do when i gather herbs?

its transforming me out of it. I can do it in sky golem
edit: So played around a bit. It worked in the dragon flight style of flying. but old world flying makes you pop out of flight form. Not sure if that second one is a bug or not
edit2: now that i swapped back again it works in both. So something a little off when you first get the 60 point talent but swap back and forth a few times and it works
I messed up and leveled up the two other choices besides mounted mining D; im like 15 in one 25 on the other. big rip
I don’t understand why I’m allowed to pick herbs in the flight form without needing the talent for it but yet I can’t mine or
