Trying to be an optimal balance druid, a lot of skills, any macro recommendations and so on?

I appreciate it, any macros for any skills or advice?
There is so many druid skills, gotta be some tricks out there.
Druids have a lot of skills, but really once you become familiar with it Balance is a very simple spec to play.
I am not sure how new you are to the spec, so forgive me if this is too simplistic.
You have your dots: moonfire, sunfire, stellar flare (if talented)
Builder spells: solar wrath, lunar strike
Spenders: starsurge (most important damaging ability), Starfall (aoe that’s only good for large packs)
And one cooldown: celestial alignment
Casting solar wrath will occasionally Empower lunar strike, and lunar strike will occasionally Empower solar wrath. Starsurge will always Empower both. You can have up to 3 Empowerments for each. Empowerment makes these spells do more damage, and it is almost always better to cast an Empowered wrath or strike over an unempowered one.
The four most important things to remember:
- Keep your dots up at all times.
- Astral Power is capped at 100, and any AP generated past 100 is wasted. Don’t waste astral power.
- Avoid making more Empowerments than you can hold (3) if possible, so as to not waste them.
- Pack as many starsurges into celestial alignment as you can.
Look for the azerite traits Arcanic Pulsar and Streaking Stars. You want one Pulsar and as many Streaking as you can get. Arcanic Pulsar gives you a short version of your major cooldown every 9 starsurges. Streaking Stars gives you bonus damage when you don’t repeat spells. If you have Streaking, never cast the same two spells back to back.
Another handy tip that can make you a little more optimal is to save some extra astral power so that you have enough for a Starsurge in case you have to move. Then you can cast it on the move and not lose DPS.
Because Balance is so simple at its core, there are not very many macros needed. Of course, what macros you use will come down to your personal preference. Innervate and rebirth are useful utility spells to cast on your raid members, so simple mouseover macros can be helpful:

How do ppl managing having so many skills as balance? My bars are so full. Do u make regular form your healer spec?

I’m a little weird in that I put my shapeshift forms on my bars rather than keybind them separately. I also have a little bar over on the side for extra buttons that I don’t need immediate access to. But as you can see, there is plenty of room for everything you need as balance.
what does s1 etc stand for?
Probably shift-1
Corbenzos is right, it’s Shift+1. I have a Corsair Scimitar mouse which has a number pad on the side, so I use those buttons for most of my skills
There’s lots of abilities I guess but you only use so many of the regularly. I personally don’t use any macros for pve. Except one that whispers whomever I innervate just to let them know I innervated them.
I do however use a pretty detailed WA for basically the whole spec.
