I love popping into a topic only to see someone suggesting they should add a fourth spec to a class. I hated the fact that Druids had to be split into four specs. People need to stop deluding themselves into the idea that giving a fourth spec to any other class is even an option. If anything, they will take a wrecking ball to one of the existing specs and change that into the new spec. I just keep seeing people talk about a fourth spec like it’s ever gonna happen.

The point of this thread is to talk about something other than the existing topics. We have beaten mythic plus to death. We have beaten marksman Hunter to death. We have beaten time walking to death. I’d like to talk about something new.

It doesn’t sound like you want to talk about anything. This thread just sounds like you want to shut down the idea of anyone wanting a 4th spec added to their class.

so change my mind. Tell me why other classes should get a fourth spec. Tell me what purpose it serves. Tell me how it would make things super unique. Let’s have a discussion. Don’t just come in here like a troll and cherry. pick my comments and start an argument that you don’t really wanna finish. If you wanna change my mind, then change my mind. But if you’re gonna roll up in here like an a hole, I don’t have time for you.

yeah, but is it really useful? Like can we all agree that Evokers really only have two useful specs?
Augmentation is the most used evoker spec in pve though…… Idk if I can agree to that.

No, that’s okay. Sounds like yours is already made up…for some reason. I don’t see a point of arguing against Blizzard adding more specs for more playstyles. Sounds like a dumb thing to have an argument over.

it doesn’t have to be an argument. It can actually be a discussion. I just don’t see the need for a fourth spec. In fact, if I could get them to reverse the one they did to Druid and put feral back under one umbrella I’d be super happy.
pretty sure the only thing they have sacrificed is hygiene

oh, you must not have played way back then. There was a time when the feral spec was absolutely dominant. You could start out tanking, and then you could flip into your cat form to beat the enrage timer and then switch back to your tank back and keep going.
Even being separated into its own spec, feral is still forced to choose lame druid spells that they will not really utilize on the druid tree to reach spells they will need.
It still needs more separation imo.

I would say preservation and aug are the useful of the evoker specs. But something being used alot doesn’t mean something else needs to be removed. Does anyone use mind vision? Prob not but I like to use it sometimes cause why not. Or Charm woodland creature.
