Umbral Intensity increases the damage of Wrath by 20/40% (was 25/50%) and Starfire by 15/30% (was 50%).
Starsurge damage increased by 12%.
Starfall damage increased by 20%.
Harmony of the Heavens increases Eclipse power by 2% per proc, max 6% (was 1% per proc, max 5%).
Feral
Bloodtalons and Lion’s Strength now also increase the damage of Rampant Ferocity.
Although as Balance I was expecting Regrowth to get honestly a massive buff. But I guess it is better than nothing. , although Starfire and Wrath took a hit, poor Wrath.
Everyone’s opinion??, maybe now worth to cast Starsurge besides for Starlord buff?.
Tons of dmg lost. now we can only rely on starsurge GG. These guys just suck. They really just hate casters that arent mages or locks. What is this peace of potato I am seeing.

PVP nerfs :
Balance
Lunar Calling now increases Starfire damage by 50% in PvP combat (was 65%).
Umbral Embrace now increases the damage of Wrath and Starfire by 40% in PvP combat (was 75%).
Yeah, those are massive nerfs to go along with Ferals massive bite nerfs. Can’t let Feral have some burst. Have to run around and tab target padding now. No other option.
Was elunes chosen even overtuned in PvP? All I’ve seen is one mage streamer losing with it in shuffles but he got one big crit so the clickbait title is that it’s OP.
This wasn’t a buff at all. It was merely just shifting damage away from our builders into our spenders (since builders were quite a large % of our damage)… It comes out basically neutral in terms of damage gain (its not even 1%). Smart nerds have already done the math on the Balance druid discord on it.
I don’t like the term net neutral when a part of the game was affected pretty strongly. Enough to consider one hero talent tree to lose value towards the other.
When people realise the damage in PVP.
You will see less elunes chosen and more keeper of the grove druids.
Curious what prompted this… I haven’t seen a lot of balance druids just tearing it up in PVP but I also haven’t been doing a ton outside of the open world. Am I missing something here?
Honestly, As Balance, I was eagerly awaiting a tuning pass, but what I expected was a rather significant increase in survival ability. We certainly didn’t get that, or a stronger regrowth, so whatever minor looking dep change we got really doesn’t fix any playability issues for me.
Rip damage increased by 15% in PvP combat.
Rake damage increased by 15% in PvP combat.
Feral
Taste For Blood’s damage increase to Ferocious Bite during Tiger’s Fury is decreased by 50% in PvP combat.
Saber Jaws effectiveness now reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
Regrowth is needed now, Works with Protective Growth as Keeper of the Grove, 8% DR for 12 sec (it should be buffed) and Resto Mastery, but for Balance the healing seriously needs to be buffed, I mean the Initial Heal and the HoT portion.
Honestly even as Resto I wouldn’t the HoT portion healing a little more.
But regardless for Balance, Regrowth is ridiculously undertuned, honestly I’d buff it by 50%, the amount of casts required to heal with Regrowth as Balance it’s bad, not to forget to mention the amount of gcds wasted.
I’m not changing anything in my build. Gonna play Elune’s Chosen, probably always with Fury of Elune, be in Solar Eclipse. I think the Starsurge buff is gonna be really nice, though I do wish our casted builders did more damage. I also wish our passive durability was a little bit better, that or our Bear recovery – which was nerfed quite a bit…
As for Regrowth… I wish the Dragonflight hybrid healing change would be reverted. Fewer regrowths, more healing… I’d say the same for spending resources for damage TBH. I miss how it was before DF. Slower but with more impact.
