But more seriously, T1 has zero Hit on it, and while there is less total Armor, the rest of the stats are all better than T1. We’re also likely to get Rank 13 opened up, and the PTR shows dramatically more powerful Dragonhide gear available (that has Hit all over it). Finally, you have things like Boots of Shadowflame, Onyxia Blood Talisman, Drake Fang Talisman, Band of Accuria, etc.
Compared to T1, you’ll be slightly, like less than 700 or less, lower on total Armor… but be up 1k+ on Health and literally every other stat be tremendously higher.
Don’t compare yourself to Protection Warrior stats, its pointless, and Druids don’t scale like Prot Warriors anyway.
They already said that won’t happen until AQ since the gear is on par with AQ tier
T2 was always about stam since most of the damage you take in BWL is magic damage. We are already armor capped in t1 there is zero point of having more. Now you can drink armor pots like the rest of the tanks and have something else to do other than just be awesome.
There doesn’t seem to be an armor cap in sod I have had my Dr from armor over 75.6%
It’s actually a fair bit more than 700 total armor diff between the tier sets after bear form
Yes there are non set items that give hit no one said there wasn’t but all other tanks also have access to items like this.
Every tank class gets more stam but with the stat difference between prot warr and bear T2 it doesn’t even out look at the stat difference posted above… They have more of everything… 12 stam is not equal to more def, 4x the hit, more str more agi
If you think “every other stat will be tremendously higher” plz do a side by side t1 and T2 bear gear

So because of runes gear should not be on the same level as other classes?? What even is the point of ur comment??
Are you trying to say if ur class has a 6%crit reduction rune you should not have hit% on ur gear?
Or are you saying Sotf is not balanced?
Druids have Sotf… Warriors have avoidance, shieldwall, ability to b uncrushable for 2 hits ery like 15sec, better demo shout, etc… yes the classes are different but also similar enough to compare when it comes to stats… Forget about abilities… Just gear… How does it make sense for bear T2 to have so much less stat wise compared to warr?
Based on a couple twitter replies, I think the devs WANT us to not upgrade to Tier 2 if we like Tier 1 stats better? I don’t think they understand that raiding an entire tier and not being able to use the majority of the gear from there feels really lame.
