In areas where flying isn’t allowed, can we have druid swim form remain the same when jumping out of the water? Right now you return to stag form for a hot second and turn back once you’re in the water.
Same with underwater mounts like the seahorses even in open world, you completely just dismount it.
I agree with Druid though strongly agree
While I can see wanting this, I think it would be a huge programming nightmare. I can see the complaints and bugs of people coming out of water and staying in aquatic form, flopping on the beach.
Yeah, it’s a bit silly that it happens, but I have no idea how the game would determine if you were just jumping for the sake of jumping…or jumping to actually get out of the water.
I think the only way to fix that would be to separate Aquatic Form from Travel Form.

I’ve wanted to jump in and out of the water since glyph of the orca SO BADLY.
Let us toggle flight form manually when we leave the water, not have it auto-shift!
I think that’s the best answer. I remember being annoyed when they made all the separate forms one button. Sometimes I preferred cheetah form instead of flying. Time to unprune the travel forms!
I agree that it probably is the only way that wouldn’t be such a programming nightmare but I do like the seamless travel all in 1 button.
I actually thought there was still a spell you could use for each travel form individually. That’s stupid if you cant :\
I use the dolphin glyph and it comes the closest. When you jump out of the water you actually look like a cresting dolphin jumping up out of the water. Just as you’re nose hits the water to dive back in, flight form pops.
Your character would probably still revert back to their base form when they leave the water, though.
I don’t know why they merged it all into one blanket Travel Form
Seems rather simple to me, if airborne with water within a few feet beneath you and flying is disallowed then player model stays aquatic, else if airborne and flying is allowed then player model becomes bird, else player becomes stag.
Which is terrible because they put all that time and effort into the dolphin’s animation for jumping out of water…
I see what you’re saying but having to program proximity from the water when it’s now simply “in water, aquatic, out of water, flight”.
I could be wrong. It might be easy but developers have said that some things that seem like they’d be easy to program are far from it.
There is. You can buy the separate non-flying travel form from a vendor in the Legion druid class hall. As well as a few other spells.
Ah, OK. But no separate aquatic form?
