i want in n out. clean run.
Guardian, if you have the ash get an ursocs fury remembered lego. Reset until you have the mawrat spices, then try and build up your damage as you go.
Convoke, lycaras, 3 dot damage boosts, 3x 25% damage after leaving stealth 3x of the one that makes some of your abilities 20%/stack stronger as well. Then as much + stats, +critical and +mastery as possible
Final boss: go feral, stealth, rake thrash rip convoke, laugh at 600k+ dps
From what I can tell, all of them.
Although I found that Guardian really started to struggle past level 6.
Both Feral and Balance tear through all parts of Torghast, Twisting and otherwise without too much issue.
My understanding is that Resto with things like feral affinity can push through fairly easily as well due to mobs downscaling for the healer spec.
Balance druid in a party, convoke melts bosses fast after a few power ups. If your doing it solo, don’t expect a “clean n fast run”.
im doing it solo and i am expecting a clean n fast run do you got a problem?
Just letting you know, you might hit a boss that’s unkillable because you can’t do enough DPS or w/e. Or maybe some mobs on a floor destroy you, it can go so very wrong so fast solo and it wont be fast.
Overall, Druid is possibly one of the powerful classes for Torghast, with its wide range of defensive and offensive capabilities.
However, for layer 8 of Twisting Corridors, I would not describe it as the “cleanest” of runs. In order to make use of the most powerful anima powers, you will need to switch between Druid forms (and in some cases stealth) constantly, judiciously select talents and anima powers, and make use of dozens of different offensive and defensive abilities that you normally wouldn’t think of using.
Balance spec (particularly Night Fae) can reach very high damage potential with the right anima powers and kill elites, bosses, and rooms full of lesser mobs very quickly. However, by the time you get to floors 17 and 18 on layer 8, mobs will be doing so much damage to you (even with defensive anima powers and Barkskin active) that you will need to have major cooldowns ready to just to fight 1 elite, as even a few attacks will kill you faster than you can survive using Frenzied Regeneration, etc.
Guardian spec has a great deal of defensive potential, but you may want to weave in abilities from Feral form (Feral affinity talent) or Moonkin Form (Balance affinity talent) in order to maximize damage and the speed of your run.
You could always run with a DPS spec, and then switch to tank spec in the “safe” bubble on Floor 6 or 12. (Note: For me the safe zone seems to go away once the boss is defeated, so you may have to switch specs before fighting the boss.)
You sound like a nice person. I hope some community members take the time to answer your question in detail. You deserve it.
I did it as feral. Did all of Torghast level 8s as feral around 180 ilvl too
But that also comes with familiarity of the spec
