Druid profession

Yes, I’m Druid.

Right now I have herb and skinning, but after looking into some YouTube videos, i saw that you need a certain trinket at max lvl that can only be enchanted.
And I also heard that in 60 you will want engineering as a prof.

So what do you recommend? Should I drop herb and go enchanting to create smoking heart? Or wait till I’m 60?

Stay strong my Druid friends, we will show them all we can do stuff!

Depends on what you plan to do end game. Enchanting is only mandatory if you plan on tanking.

If you intend to tank – or you’re just that dedicated to Druid-ing – it might be worthwhile to level enchanting for the [Smoking Heart of the Mountain]. If you don’t have an Enchanting alt, it might be worth keeping Enchanting as a profession.

Engineering isn’t a bad choice, but switching between feral forms to utilize your items may not be a wise decision. If you’re primarily Balance or Restoration, Engineering provides a defensive edge in PVP.

My Druid is Herbalism/Skinning because Druids are the best at this gathering profession combo.

Well I actually have no plan because I never played Druid before, especially on classic.

I probably will tank in the future but not sure that with Druid and not warrior.
If I’ll want to tank as Druid, can I enchant on an alt and send it to my self? I really don’t want to have a sucky prof just for 1 item if I can get him in other ways.

If you’re thinking about tanking in the future keep your professions, you can easily clear 5 man content without it. if you want to be serious then you just as easily drop something and minmax; but now isn’t that time.

If you do want the Smoking Heart (BIS for druid tanks), then yes your druid will have to level up enchanting. But you can drop enchanting after you make the trinket. Totally up to you, whether or not its worth doing that.

Ok, thank you all.

I think I’ll keep my profs for now.
But if I can craft it on alt, which class is best for that?

Look up ALL the professions that can make stuff but don’t require the profession then plot a route… and level all of them. You will want to end on Eng, however you will need to level Eng twice if you want both the Gnome stuff and Goblin. Gnomeish first Goblin last.

if you want to be overly competative you might want to have 2 crafting professions just to use those crafting items. like Black Smith has a anti fear trinket.
eg:
"Glimmering Mithril Insignia
Binds when picked up
Unique
Requires Blacksmithing (225)

Use: [Increases armor by 50, all resistances by 10 and grants immunity to Fear for 30 sec.] (cooldown 10 min)"

Tailor and chants.

So basically at the end I’ll have them all? Or go through them all?

Have them.

That fear trinket won’t work if you drop BS as it’s a requirement for the trinket.

Heart of the Mountain you can craft then drop Enchanting as it’s BoP but doesn’t require you to have Enchanting to equip.

Wait what?
I asked which class is best suitable with enchanting

Ebbnflow made a nice video about what l believe you are after. And can perhaps explain things better than we have for you.

You should do what you find most fun.

If you enjoy min/max then certainly go for it. If you dont find min/max fun, then pick whatever you want. Nothing in this game is mandatory to play it. You can choose. That is what i like most about classic

I am old now. I know i don’t have the reflexes i had, so i will never be the best or even close to good. I do what i feel like doing.
