Which class should I play? Druid or Rogue? Can’t decide between these 2.
Casual player. Mostly just world content (world quest, Wpvp), low level mythic keys, raid. Not playing arena/rated bg. For druid, I only play dps spec (mostly moonkin).
For both class I like the ability of stealth. For boomkin sometimes I feel less engaging as I just stand there to ramp up energy for starsurge. I sometimes find the ramp up time annoying. Rogue, on the other hand, feels really squishy after the opener and has less healing options than druid.
So what do you guys think? Any suggestions? Thank you!
I recommend playing a druid. I think that both classes are fun, but druids can do so much more than rogues IMO. I like that you can stealth, be ranged OR melee, tank, and heal on a druid. That way, if you don’t like one role, you can always switch to whichever you like most!

Feral is just the worst Rogue spec.
Balance is fun but eh… I don’t think its good to pick a spec instead of a class.

Eclipse is coming back for Shadowlands and I HATED that mechanic. I’d only play druid if you want to heal.

Rogue has 3 different playstyles, one of which is usually fun and one of which is usually good. Sadly these aren’t always the same spec.
Druid has, for a casual DPS player, two specs that are rarely good and very rarely fun and interactive. Sometimes TOO interactive as well, such as JOHN MADDENNNNNNNNNNN Feral of Wrath days. You might like that, you might not. Eclipse mechanic changes from expansion to expansion from fun to tiresome to pointless. It’s up in the air where they go with it for boomkins.

Druid feels way better out in the world. Instant flying, herbing while flying, multiple different forms, + stealth, it’s just a way more convenient lifestyle.

Druid. Should you ever decide to heal or tank, you don’t have to level another toon (since you said you’re a bit casual, I assume hours are part of that).
Druids can do respectable damage in both feral and boomkin. I’m a resto main, but I do ALL of my world content and questing in feral for the convenience and it’s fun.
I DPS in M+ on boomie when asked to do that, but mostly I heal raids and M+ in resto.
The versatility of being a druid is a huge selling point.
As to the rogue: I have one, and I enjoy it. It’s a very fun class to play. That said, it’s more limited in several ways. It does more damage, however, unless you’re a very good druid. /wink

If you love pvp and are going rogue, just wait until you run into “that” feral druid. You know… the one who kitty meow meows you so bad you start rethinking your life. Trust me, it will happen. Go druid

For casual play I’d go Druid. You can do Balance which is quite powerful once you get the hang of it and that doesn’t take long. It’s going to (in my opinion) improve with SL. Feral if you want to slash and be melee. Bear if you want to really tank and tough it out. lol And Resto/tree if you want to do some healing.
It’s very versatile. You can stealth in both so that doesn’t really matter. One of the things I really like with Druid (I play Balance) is the ability to do single and multi targets effectively. Very good self healing as well and roots are a huge + lol
Rogue is fun, and can do quite a bit of damage, but also is melee and can take damage, has a heal but it has a timer, and isn’t all that powerful. Has some multi target abilities but not too many. Works with some instances, but if you are suddenly and unexpectedly attacked, you can’t sap since you can’t stealth in combat, and you can only pretty much deal with one other effectively.
Meaning I do really well with my Rogue but I also die sometimes. (Especially when others aggro mobs into me.) Whereas my Druid can take it.
I player mostly Assassination as I enjoy it the most. I’m sort of goofing around with Outlaw a bit, though it’s not my favorite. And I don’t enjoy Subtlety.

Feral beats the crap out of rogue. Rogues are garbage.
Druids can do so much more. We can jump off cliffs and turn into birds, run super fast, flap our little boomkin arms to avoid fall damage, and a lot of other neat stuff. We have a ton of CC, 2 different roots, stuns, speed boosts (3 if worgen but you’re not, still good though), and a lot more. Plus, druid is the only class in the game that can do all 4 specs–melee DPS, ranged DPS, healing, and tanking.
Also animals are cool. Shapeshifting is cool.
I heal mostly, on my druid and shaman, both resto specs are alot of fun. I’ve never dpsed with a druid really, and feral is in terrible shape, stealth is hardly a factor, feral druid is a broken rogue sadly 
but i do play my Assassination rogue since vanilla and I pvp mostly and its hella fun. You’ll gain more survivability as you gear up and familiarize yourself with the play style. Got no beef with subtlety, played alot of it in the beginning, I just prefer poisons better. Outlaw is trash, I’m not sorry to say.
I can’t stress this enough tho, don’t be deceived by the early squishyness of rogue, you will be beefy.
Yeah, sub is real bad right now, but it’s got cool purple animations which make up for everything because that’s all people want, pretty colors.

Druid is easier than Rogue for the content you listed.

I may also be biased because although I enjoy both, I love the combination of magic + stealth PLUS your best simming essence is Vision of perfection and it’s completely passive.

You can take feral affinity on balance or resto for some melee goodness. I just started doing it myself and man its making druid even more of a blast to play
Not exactly true, rogues have plenty of CC and powerful defensive abilities that can make them seem tanky. An advantage i see with rogue, it that it is a pure DPS class, so if blizzard dose a ballance change that would nerf your spec you have others to fall back on. In terms of performance they are both fairly equal so I’d honestly pick whatever fantasy you prefer more.
