Middle column in the base Druid tree, 3rd row from the bottom. Lycara’s Teachings.
Depending on your form, it’s supposed to give a bunch to a 2ndary stat.
All of it appears to work except Balance Moonkin form. It’s giving 4% Mastery, not 6% like it says it should. It doesn’t change the actual amount of Mastery I have, that stays at 7898 no matter what form.
This seems like it just alters the percentage like it says, but we’re losing out on 2% Mastery here. Mastery is a big deal to Balance and 2% is a lot.

Can confirm its not working as intended in any spec.
Now, if I change my spec to Balance and try I get different results:
Going Moonkin form as Balance spec I go from 23% mastery to 26% = +3% ???
Going Feral form as Balance spec I go from 30% crit to 36% = +6%
Going Guardian form as Balance spec I go from 14% vers to 20% = +6%
Going No form as Balance spec I go from 26% haste to 33% = +6%
Now, if I change my spec to Feral and try again I get different results:
Going Moonkin form as Feral spec I go from 76% mastery to 88% = +12% ???
Going Feral form as Feral spec I go from 39% crit to 45% = +6%
Going Guardian form as Feral spec I go from 14% vers to 20% = +6%
Going No form as Feral spec I go from 26% haste to 33% = +6%
Now, if I change my spec to Guardian and try again I get different results:
Going Moonkin form as Guardian spec I go from 25% mastery to 30% = +5% ???
Going Feral form as Guardian spec I go from 33% crit to 39% = +6%
Going Guardian form as Guardian spec I go from 23% vers to 29% = +6%
Going No form as Guardian spec I go from 24% haste to 31% = +7% ???
Now, if I change my spec to Restoration and try again I get different results:
Going Moonkin form as Restoration spec I go from 17% mastery to 20% = +3% ???
Going Feral form as Restoration spec I go from 18% crit to 24% = +6%
Going Guardian form as Restoration spec I go from 15% vers to 21% = +6%
Going No form as Restoration spec I go from 38% haste to 46% = +8% ???
Crit and Vers will always be +6%.
The haste bonus is +6% as well as a 6% bonus to your current haste. Your numbers are going to be inaccurate since they are missing decimal point precision, but if you have 25% haste you will gain 6% + 6% of 25% for a total of 7.5%. The prot warrior talent into the fray also works like this.
Mastery is 6 mastery points and not a flat 6%.
1 mastery point for balance is 0.6%, and lycara’s teachings gives 3.6%.
1 mastery point for feral is 2% and teachings gives 12%
1 mastery point for guardian is 0.7% and teachings gives 4.2%
1 mastery point for restoration is 0.5% and teachings gives 3%
This is all working as intended.
Doesn’t really matter if it’s working as intended, their intent is incorrect. Back on planet Earth where we have real normal math, a talent that states it’s going to give 6% should give 6% not 3.6%
Perhaps it’s ok for our $15 a month to be working as intended when my CC calculates dollar factors differently. $1 normal dollar equals .6% in reality so they want $15 a month but really my CC will only give them $9
Working as intended. I’m not attacking you btw, I’m just saying, this is simple. Correctly state on a talent choice what you’re actually going to give me.
It could say give 6 mastery points instead but the vast majority of people don’t actually understand how mastery works and this would just cause even more confusion.
Why is this still broken?

Just on the off chance any of you did shadowlands on the druid in question, go pull out all of your conduits and see if that helps
It’s not broken. Every talent that gives a mastery % is actually giving mastery points, which means the actual % will vary depending on the spec.
