Anyone willing to shed a little light on the different specs, stats and gearing?
How easy is it to obtain the gear.
Thank you!
Resto is easy to gear, usually you are the only Druid in the raid, so you get all the tier items.
Feral likely wants to farm pvp gear, also getting to hit cap can be a challenge.
Moonkin is very hard to gear, basically every item you want is a sought after cloth item
Biggest pain for Druid is holding the gear for specs. Talk about bag bloat.
Still the best class though.
Still better than warrior inventories
No it isn’t lmfao. I have THREE sets of gear sitting in my bags/in the bank at all times. This + loads of oils, mana pots, drinks, wep swaps, I have no space, ever.
This isn’t even including if you wanted to have a sep set for hit cap for PvE dps.
PvP set, PvE set, PvE tank set. If you regularly tank, now include PvE resist set.
A naxx warrior has 1-2 inv spots open due to stat swaps/wep swaps and PvP sets or farming sets. Not to mention flask set
Did you not even read what I said? I had all 18 slots and I STILL didn’t have room on my druid.
Whats with the hostility? I’m just stating facts…
In your eyes Paladin would have the same issue due to DPS set and Tank set along with Healing set + wep swaps but on my naxx paly with all those other sets I can still have room for consumes -_-
Paladin would NOT have the same issue lmfao. Keep thinking warrior has the most bag issues. You clearly have no idea.
LMFAO get REKT nerd kekw
Um… Paladin can play Tank, DPS and Healer.
Druid… Plays… DPS, Tank, Healer.
Warrior requires a healing set for flask, weapon swaps for PvP, different builds or preference. Tank set and PvP set. The amount of weapons are increased thanks to the use of some lower level weapons in PvP and Utility skills on some pieces. Trinket swaps for certain fights in Raid etc. Then add the left over space for consumes some I met are left with like I said 1-2 inv spaces.
I just don’t understand why you wont list and explain why Druid is somehow the most leading bag hoarder for space in the game when Warlocks also exist or Hunters who think 3 ammo bags is all they need lol.
Paladin also doesn’t need a sep set for spell hit cap and can make do with shifting some pieces around from their tank set for melee hit cap for dps. You also aren’t weapon swapping as a pally like a Druid [Who tf is wep swapping as pally]. Also, literally nobody is taking ret pallies or tank pallies to raid unless you desperately need someone. They don’t bring anything to the table. Feral brings LOTP and moonkin brings 3% crit, both of which would outdps ret.
I DID list it, but you DIDN’T read it.
Spell hit cap set for PvE
Tank set
DPS melee set [tank set is NOT the same as melee set]
PvP resto set
PvP melee set
PvE resto set
PUMMELERS, TONS OF PUMMELERS
Resist set for tanking
Weapon for swaps
Drink stacks
Y’all wanna go more in depth with druids since you know so much and that’s what this post is for lol?
The only Druid guide you need is from our friend Alamo. Just Google, " Alamo teechs u 2 play DURID!" It’s the last guide you will need.
I just dont have any clue why this other guy is so hard pressed to prove something he should know isnt an issue but only an issue he created for himself. If he’s got inv space issues then that is on him tbh.
Same goes to you for warrior LMFAO?
Thanks for proving me right. Good day <3
Druid is one of the lesser played classes, thus it is relatively easy to gear up at max level.
While leveling Druids, aren’t really gear dependent as feral, which is nice. But I try to prioritize “…of the tiger” or “…of the monkey” gear although you can also use “…of the bear”. So you’re looking for mostly agi/str/stam but int/spirit can be beneficial too, especially when you hit 40 and can pick up wolfshead and pshift some if you get furor early.
Up to level 20 I level as balance then I switch feral for feline swiftness.
At max level grinding pre-bis I run 17/0/34 swiftmend build, swiftmend is a necessity for dungeons. Once I have pre-bis and a decent amount of +healing I go 24/0/27 moon glow build for mana efficiency in raids.
I’ll check it out boss
There are a LOT of different druid specs that people use. But for fresh I’d HIGHLY recommend some version of a rejuvenation focused build. Rejuvenation is going to be your strongest healing ability in both PvP and PvE. In raids you’ll want to keep it on all tanks at all times. And on other raid members whenever there’s a lot of raid damage going out. Swiftmend is also a must have since you’ll be able to keep rejuvenation up.
Here’s my recommended build, which will be good for both PvP and PvE:

Nature’s grasp, natural shapeshifter, feral charge and furor are all PvP talents. So if you don’t care about PvP at all you can reallocate those to whatever else. Although I would still recommend this spec when you get to Naxx if your guild does the druid aggro strat on Gluth. Feral charge can save you from the zombies.
As for gear, 8/8 t2 is going to pretty much be BiS for all raiding phases. The extra rejuvenation tick means you get 20% more value out of spell power for rejuvenation. This is massive and more than compensates for the slightly lower healing power you’ll have in later phases.
Other than that you basically just prioritize healing power followed by mp/5 followed by spirit for itemization. I’d give some prioritization to stamina for PvP.
Now as I said, there are other builds like moonglow builds, heart of the wild builds, feral tanking builds, feral DPS builds, balance PvP builds etc. But the one I linked above is IMO the best single build that will make you the most useful in the most environments. You can definitely top healing meters and dominate in WSG with that build, which is why if you take one build with you and use it for all of fresh I’d say that’s the one.
And for what it’s worth I mained a druid for all of 2019 classic. Raided all content extensively and was able to experiment with many different resto builds.
