This seems to be a problem with Track Humanoid, which automatically turns back on when you shift into cat.

Blizzard please give us a way to permanently toggle track humanoid off if you aren’t going to fix the issue.

We had 2 extra hours of maintenance today and this is still broken. Posts about this date back NEARLY A MONTH at this point. Anyone from Blizzard care to speak up and give us any updates? Game is nearly unplayable.

Having the same problem. Searched this on Google with little hope, thinking it was some weird issue with my computer or my settings, but NOPE! It’s a huge issue and will therefore take Blizzard half the expansion to acknowledge it exists and the other half to fix it. Expect the fix to be near Sunwell release.

Its in TBC. It may have been stealth fixed? Not happening as of today, at least not yet after 30 mins.

Still happening with no addons enabled for me in TBC. Both in switching from herb/mining and from one form to cat form when track humanoids is enabled. I can prevent it when I keep one of the gathering skills tracking on which prevents track humanoid from activating, but that is a terrible fix.

This is a resource leak on the map screen. I posted an explanation in another thread, but will copy here for visibility:

This is likely a resource leak on the Map screen. Not an addon problem. You can reproduce the problem by repeatedly opening and closing your map.

1. /reload to get a fresh UI.
2. Toggle your favorite minimap tracking skill, and it should be instant
3. Open and close your map a couple dozens times
4. Toggle minimap tracking skill again, and notice the freeze

The more times you view the map screen, the longer the delay. I’ve managed to get it to a point where Windows thinks the game isn’t responding and prompts me to close application.

Get it real bad after 20 mins or so of gameplay sometimes ill notice it happen here and there in combat has happened mainly in cat form and maybe once or twice in bear but a lot of times catform makes the screen freeze up for a sec
