Druid Forms

It’s been 21 years of WoW, folks. Druids and the Druid team, I applaud your hapless battle to code or test the work of the team that tries endlessly to bring balance to the specs for all content.
In fact I believe so much commitment has been made on one of the most complex and largest classes in the game that a simple element is being missed time and time and time again.
Class immersion through class fantasy.
So many times the mark has been missed to squeeze in a new attainable form, or reevaluation of the spell/ability animations.
I say this here because our class is one that doesn’t get to really enjoy or immerse ourselves with the regalia of armor collections or weapon skins while anywhere other than standing in nice safe place in a dormant or sedentary state.
While all of our comrades and party pals boast prestige by their attire in engaging content, we rock the same old same old limited acquisitions of individuality and expressionism. The crumbs of development. An array of forms from limited content rules and quests of even more limited sources.
Now I’m not saying our class needs a full and constant cadence of glow up with respect to our naturopathic immersion into the primal mystique, but at least a flair or modified that draws the effects of the expansion or current content just to feel engaged in the new world. The option. The option breeds the variety and creativity breathes life in the game.

Maybe just me, but this was a hard read for some reason.

I will agree that we could use some more Druid forms and or cat/guardian could use the moonkin treatment to have options to express a bit more.

There’s been like 2,000 swords transmogs in the game. I dunno how many helms, shields, shoulderes, bracers… when you consider all the possible combinations warriors almost have an infinite kit to collect, customize, and make their look their own.

But there are only 29 possible faces a druid tank can wear into battle. And 10% of them are not available to most players.

Druids need a way to express themselves. Making your toon personal is a huge part of emersion in the game. Of being present in that climb to Ice Crown and enjoying that moment you take down Ragnaros. Always has been.

Druids need new forms more than new tier sets. Really this whole Remix thing kinda feels like you left druids out. I don’t want a hundred new mounts, I want to take the form of those mounts. Give me a tier form instead of a tier armor appearance and let me collect forms in the open world the way hunters collect pets. Give me the option of earning a mounts shape instead of riding another bear (which always felt a little weird).

Beyond that though, think about druids when you consider cosmetics. How about some enchanter products that perma-change the eyes of druids in all their forms—letting us pick color, or give cats-eye shape (or human eye shape) to the forms to make it our own. Or add some sparkle or flames or wafty-glow to our animal forms. Let me make my cat different than the other five cats in my raid.

We need the LEGO Furbolg (like the LEGO Moonkin from DF), so we can collect new claws, fangs, ears, horns, wreath of laurels, or crown of ivy… like the Moonkin balance druid form. And yea, hair dye would be great. Let me change the tint of my cat or it’s secondary colors. Introducing new dyes with new pigments with new herbs each expansion. If those dyes lasted only a month it could also create a great economy for herbalists, alchemists, and scribes as they farm past content to process popular colors.

Some glyphs too please? My FelFurbolg is a neat form… but dude I’m druid. I really don’t want to champion the fel. Give me a glyph to change the highlight color to winter blue, fire red, or maybe void violet.

Blizzard, it’s been 20 years. And only 29 bears. C’mon help an old bear out here, we need to update our look.
