I’m for the challenge to be forever available.
People getting it for free doesn’t kill the game, sure, but it kind of kills the fun of it a little, you know? Quick reward VS not having anything to strive for, etc etc.
So let these challenges be available forever. They have Plunderstorm and Remix Modes, why not have a permanent “Challenge Mode” or whatever you wanna call it available for players to get this stuff? Once you log into it, it asks you what you want to do, MoP CMs, WoD CMs, MT, Green Fire, whatever.
Once you do it, you get to wear stuff on retail cos you’ve earned it fair and square so the sweats can’t complain.
So as someone who got the original Mage Tower skin, but hadn’t unlocked the PvP skin before the bug today, I got my artifact out of the bank and looked at the unlocked appearances at the Legion table… PvP skin is still locked. I can select it at the barber, but not from the weapon. So the skins have probably not actually been unlocked but the barber is allowing them to be selected anyway.
I am curious what’s going to happen in this instance. I feel like rolling things back maybe too complicated in this instance and they could just leave it be.
It’s always funny reading through these sorts of threads and seeing all the posts upset about what someone else has, that someone else didn’t “earn” something in a game.
If you have something in the game, don’t worry about whether other people have it, enjoy having it yourself.
Really? That’s your comparison? A mount from a world boss that was never removed from the game and never explicitly said would never become available again, and in fact was then practically handed out to everyone for free in the MoP remix? You’re comparing THAT to a whole heap of transmogs that were removed from the game and were explicitly stated to never come back?
This is one of those moments that you wish folks would be quiet about a bug like this. Of course, in real life they would always catch it to fix it, but it’s always funny how human being have to talk about absolutely everything.
