The new Alpha build that was datamined today has options that allow Druids to pick the animal forms they have unlocked on the Character Create screen/Barber shop. So you can now change your weapon transmog and keep your form.
Edit: Seems there was some confusion. Nobody is getting free druid forms. You still have to unlock them.
We don’t know if forms will still be bound by spec, but we’ll just have to see.

Swolekin are above all. We are not worthy of them in any universe or timeline. Nor will we ever.
Kyrian is the dullest choice imaginable to me for a covenant… but if they gave you the Swolekin form I’d have to go with them, my hands would be tied!

No. Nobody is getting the forms for free. They’re just no longer tied to Artifacts in transmog.
