Given the effort that Blizzard is putting into the login screen, wouldn’t it be a great addition to be able to choose your druid form? I really want my druid in the Warband screen but not being able to appear in cat/bear form is kind of a let down.
Hopefully Blizz adds this down the line.
I was thinking this too. But not just for druids.
Worgen should be able to choose worgen or human form.
Dracthyr could choose visage or dragon form.
Shamans would have ghost wolf, totem, and maybe elemental choices.
Druids would have their forms and glyph of stars.
Priests should be able to show their shadowform.
Maybe meta form for DH?
Its will be hilarious if they can make the bears dance around the fire
Character select screen is the only place druids get to participate in transmog.
Four bears sitting around a campfire… The prophecy has come!
You should be grateful. My characters aren’t even showing up at all half the time and the screen is bouncing around all glitchy.
They need to fix this
In my opinion if you were transformed when logging out you should be transformed on the login screen as well. This is the kind of functionality I believe will be added over time.
It’s a fun idea. But we are druids, we are not in our shapeshift form all of the time; that is a skill or talent. So, I’m defending the way it is now for no reason at all!
What effort?
I can easily imagine a Druid that forsaken it’s humanoid form centuries ago and had since lived only in his bear form, stood like that for so long that he trully believe that he’s a bear druid that could shapeshift in a humanoid form if he wants to. Who am i to say that he’d be wrong right? And for a roleplayer that’s could be it’s Druid case.
