This was the change that made me pretty furious. Bird is not a mount………

look in your spell book and you can turn off skyriding and get your birdie form back, i did that it worked for me. good luck
This same thing happens with every mount. Hell… in MoP I auto ran my ground mount off a cliff.
Let’s be clear that Blizz is not reading the forums for advice.
As long as the lead dev that tried to completely do away with flying in WoD is still there, we’re going to see attempts every expac to make flying miserable. Must have been a huge blow to the ego when so many players unsubbed that they were forced to bring flying back into the game, and it seems clear the dev is still butthurt about it. Hopefully MS sees the problem here.

I can fly on all the modes on my Druid. My complaint is that sometimes when I go from “foot form” to flight form, my head remains unchanged, so I am an owl with a Tauren Head. Makes it real hard to fly when my head is pulling me down the whole time.
I had to toggle mine about 6 - 8 times before it would finally switch from dynamic to static.
Sounds as if Boeing designed the flying revamp for Blizzard
