I’m curious if other druids are experiencing a certain lag when switching to flight form before the buttons react? When playing mine, hitting Ascent or something immediately, nothing happens. I have to wait a second or two.
Nope it does that with the dragonflying. You will be able to control momentum by jumping off something though, as the falling speed is enough to fly immidiately.
The dragonflying talents are locked behind a gcd though. So, you can’t use them as soon as you instant transform giving that feeling of lag. Because you cannot lift off immediately.
This has been mentioned a lot in the beta, but it looks like this is just how druid dragonflying is going to go.
I did notice this, but I assumed it was a quirk of Flight Form being instant cast instead of having the usual mount timer.
Oh okay. I have no issue with it in general. I love it and think air swimming should be discontinued. I just thought that little lag was strange.

I’ve always had it from time to time since the beginning of DF. just thought it was normal lag.
