This has been bugged for years… Never been fixed. If you logout in flight form and log back in you fall to your death.
This happens not all the time but most of the time, it seems its gotten worse.
FIX THIS PLEASE for years its been like this why? just make druids suffer? lol

I just started making sure Im over something just below my feet…even a cliff top, before I log out.
They have very little intention of fixing most of the bugs in this game, apparently.
I imagine they never considered that someone would just log out in mid air. I must admit I am struggling to come up with a reason why anyone would.

Being in a Contested area with 5-10 enemy players flying around you, waiting for you to land is a really good reason to log off in mid air…
People get reeeeal salty when a tank kills them.

Im halfway to somewhere a lot of times when I realize its 2 hours past time to go to bed and just log off.

If you are expecting a Blue response or acknowledgement, not likely on the Bug reports forums, QA doesn’t really say anything unless they have more questions. It’s kinda pointless to bump the thread.
Yes, this! It’s so frustrating. It’s also pretty inconsistent too. I find it happens more often in the newer zones. It also seems to be the only form this happens on. I never log in bumped out of cat or bear form.
this was made back in 2020. Guess what its still not fixed yet its WAY WORSE. this happens EVERY TIME now. FIX IT blizzard.
When you log in just hit bird form again… if you have enough time and the blue line lag doesn’t kill you.
Its annoying but honestly this is not a big problem more of a user issue than a bug in the game.
You just described a workaround for a bug.
Doesn’t make it any less of a bug that there’s a work around.
Whenever I log back in I’m in travel form instead of flight form. Global CD doesn’t give me enough time to switch out and back before hitting the ground. So annoying.
This is the entire reason I haven’t logged out in flight form in YEARS >< I’m really not sure it’ll ever be fixed
