Since everyone and everything is getting dynamic flight, are druids getting some love too?

Yep, I’m planning on it!
I don’t care if I have to cast it, even. Just the dynamic in flight form must be insanely fun!

We received a list of datamined dynamic flying mounts. Druid wasn’t on there but that list is also several months old so I would think they could’ve added many more mounts hopefully including flight form.

I hope you guys get a dynamic flight form. If you make it though, do me a favour and fly up and poke Blizzard to give Dracthyr one too. :stuck_out_tongue: :slight_smile:

Edit: Also, really hope that if they give you a dynamic flight form they give you a proper one and not a Druid version of Soar.

I mean, your Soar is already casted, so cast time wouldn’t be an issue.

I’ve once defended mages should be able to fly Dragon Ball style too! haha

He Ion ended the presentation asking for feedback/questions. This is a good one. I think druids flying around with dynamic flight sounds awesome.

Replying to boost, also dracthyr’s soar racial should get updated to match dragonriding talents.

I mean, plus side? The new owl mounts have dynamic flight animations, so they just have to turn on the switch for you guys. Right now it’s just for the mount version, but the Druid version is just the mount without a saddle.

Also, after calling it dragonriding for so long, gonna take a bit to stop calling it that and move to dynamic flight for me. Creature of habit. :slight_smile:

It’s now confirmed via a Dev on Twitter and posted on WoWhead that Dracthyr will be getting full Dragon Flight in 10.2.5. Druids will be getting it in 11.0.

Grats to both Druids and Dracthyr!

No idea why they are waiting so long on the Druids though when the owls have dynamic flight already, but better than nothing. Still hoping they move up that timeline for ya.

Probably want to make sure that ALL of the Druid Flight Forms have the animations needed for it. Dracthyr literally had 95% of the Animations already so it likely wasn’t hard to set up.

It’s a thing for us now too. We are getting full dragonriding.

So now, I am fully behind the Druid’s fight. :slight_smile:
