Druid flight form appears to be bugged and can’t loot herbs while in the air but the anti gravity pack can.

Have you tried getting right up on it? Sometimes I’ve noticed that you have to be virtually landed to grab herbs (which kinda makes sense).

Says im flying and can’t loot. Either this is a “feature” of 8.2 or an error.

You’ve always had to land, don’t have to leave form but you have to land.

Yeah, can’t do it from the air. I… sorta feel like you used to be able to…

You have to land on the herb but you don’t have to leave flight form. No change.

That’s never been a thing, but I heard that the BSing item does let u loot while in the air.

I also don’t seem to be able to use typhoon while in flight form but I can in ground travel form. I don’t think I should be able to use it while flying ad that could be op but when I’m on the ground I should be able to.

There are some quests where you can loot an item while airborne.

Been a herbing druid since the start, and I can confirm that you HAD to land to harvest. You can remain in your form though, allowing you to take off at the first sign of trouble.

Quest objects, however, do not require you to land. Nor chests.

You could never pick herbs in mid air. You have to “land”. Get on ground, pick up, go.

i belive they changed something. Sky golem now have to stand on ground to gather herb

I’m guessing this was an undocumented change or a bug because I’m pretty sure I was flying around on a sky golem inching closer and closer to the herbs without landing to avoid getting into combat with trash mobs I don’t need to kill in suramar.

Nope, sky golem has always been the same as druid flight form, land and herb.

Nah. It’s never been able to herb while flying/hovering. We’ve always had to “land.”
