Druid "buffs"

The next Starfire cast after the Starsurge rune ability now has its damage increased to 80% (was 66%).
Corrected a bug causing this bonus damage to be lower than intended at level 40.

This isnt going to fix the class, and doesnt address a single problem mentioned by the druid community with the changes.

They are not listening, and they do not care.

Edit: If these are the only changes that go live, I recommend every druid no longer having fun to cancel their sub.

From what I hear the only issue is mana costs right?

Mana costs, scaling, the rotation feels bad, procs DS less, casting arcane damage into a nature debuff.

Everything about it is bad. The class and casting SF feels terrible to play.

Mana cost and cast time (especially in PvP). IF the first starfire (after SS) was an instant cast with guaranteed crit, then it wouldn’t be so bad.

Change Fury of Stormrage to give instant + free of mana SF rather than HT. Bam both issues solved.

This would be similar to the TBC Boomie rotation, which I quite liked (for PvP)

Honestly not a bad idea. But baking it into NG may see better use.

Yeah they should make it guarantee crit with a chance to instant cast the some way ele sham gets from their rune.

The whole dev team is incompetent. My expectations were low for SoD but holy frick they managed to still disappoint me. I have less burst on my druid at 40 then i did at level 25. With way worse mana efficiency. Pvp is especially awful for balance and starsurge hits like a wet noodle. Its bad enough where someone should be fired for these awful decisions. Microsoft needs to make massive changes with these clown devs.

Still a shorter cast than fireball, and w/ more damage.
Druids whining is getting old.
Reroll, quit, but your class isn’t weak.
It doesn’t have to be top PVE damage to prove that.

Aggrend should to step down.

  • Failure to acknowledge why their customers are upset
  • Refuses to admit when the team makes mistakes, then doubles down when they’re objectively wrong
  • Actively blocks people on social media for communicating with him
  • Going back on public statements, which users spent money based on
  • Inability to post the correct math when making changes
  • Failure to actively communicate with the communities they’re impacting
  • Changing entire specs based off of reddit comments

Microsoft is losing money as a direct result of Aggrend and his decisions.

Dear lord you balance druids are horrible. Asking for Instant-Cast Guaranteed-Crit Starfire after using Starsurge? So every 6 seconds you’re going to just blast people all over again lol.

Asking for Instant-Cast Guaranteed-Crit Starfire

No one is asking for that. We’re asking for our spec not to be gutted over night from a reddit comment. We now scale infinitely worse, do significantly less damage, and use wayyyyy more mana to do less damage.

Not even addressing the actual argument is a massive cope.

You’ve been crying for days over things that are objectively wrong.
Your instant casts now scale the same as everyone elses.

…you sure? lol

Can you provide the previous SS coefficient, and then SF. And then explain how a smaller number is greater than a larger number?

…you sure? lol

Because SS triggers DS? That was the entire point. What lmao

Didn’t you just make a thread demanding a refund? Now you’re on about druids??

Do your business or get off the pot.

Stay or go … make up your mind.

but he ticks the ESG boxes by mentioning his pronouns every chance he gets. That has to count for something right?

demanding a refund?

Nope. Shamed them for making public statements, taking customer’s money, and then going back on those statements.

You are not meant to have permanently available endless resources. Your decisions are supposed to have weight, and you are supposed to run out of resources as a caster.

your scaling on SS vs SF is irrelevant, entirely. It’s your SS scaling vs other instant cast spells that matters, and it’s why you were nerfed, and why your pathetic whining will go ignored by devs until you unsub.
