I can’t imagine why honestly. Makes it easier to track the follower? Never had anyone use me and harvest at nodes to ever realize that is possible or if at all.
Regardless, its obvious when it is a bot just by movement alone.
not sure if it works outside of bfa zones, but miners and herbalists can gather nodes while riding a druid (as if they are using stirrup buff) and as an added bonus the druid doesn’t need to land
