Pull… drink… pull… drink… 27 sec…
Who the hell in Blizz came up with this bizarre idea of 27 second drinking?
Let me guess, you’re playing a mage?

I never drink in between pulls, so i’m not sure what your complaining about.
How are you drinking in classic as 120? Either way, why people always crying about mechanics? Clearly it was blizzards first go around and things eventually changed. Can’t understand why people can’t see that. Like going back back into 1950 and crying “who thought it was a good idea to not have cell phones…”
It doesn’t matter what I play. Everyone is waiting on drinkers… in 5m and MC.
GOGOGOGOGO!!
In Mc we don’t tend to wait unless it’s a boss because most of the time our healers have plenty of mana
When going for sub 1hr MCs, no one waits for mana
I like most of classic more then retail in current state. The idea was legitimate… to restrict mana pools for fights. But why should casters chill and drink for 27 seconds between the fights? Trying to understand logic of original developers.
They have them.
Argent dawn and AV vendors sell mana biscuits that are actually BETTER than 55 mage water. But its like 50 silver for 5
Alterac Spring Water, Alterac Manna Biscuit, or Enriched Manna Biscuit.
just use life tap, dude, it’s easy
Exactly it’s like free mana, think of the never ending Tim tam.
I don’t have to drink a lot
Im a frigging mana fountain, i eat a bowl of fish soup every 15 minutes or so, and im good
It’s how Blizz keeps us hooked. In retail- they try to keep you by filling the game with lots of things you need to keep doing to stay up to date with the azerite and gear grinds- anything to slow you down.
In Classic- the slow down wasn’t a bunch of pointless content, it was a bunch of waiting for everything. Waiting to buff everyone, waiting on drinking, waiting on CDs, waiting on FPs that take forever, waiting on single person summons, etc…
Why do you think the pvp ranking system both rewards time, and has decay? They wanted to make sure you realized that if you stopped playing, you’d be severely punished.
You only need to drink for the entire duration when you out level your drink.
MMORPG. Look it up. You’ve obviously never played one from prior to the past 5 years. Check into D&D and other table top games. WoW is from a similar vein of emulation of tabletop games to video games. It’s why your hearthstone has an hour cooldown and other odds and ends. Your complaints are amusing and show your lack of knowledge on the genre.
Now do you understand why they’ve changed that in Retail?
Got a bit silly after a while.
I laugh at ZOOMER kids like this
