You don’t look like you’ve eaten or drank anything in ages, so you’ll forgive me if i don’t take your criticism about eating soup, or any other type of food seriously. You look like you popped out of a Bram Stoker novel. How’s the weather in Revendreth?
There is more to a good soup than just the broth. Got to to have those chunks of meat, veggies and various carbs. If your soup is not but liquid you might as well just call it a simple broth rather than an actual soup.
Besides, it’s food, enjoy it how you like it.

you also dunk bread into the soup too add flavor to the bread.
Some soups you have to chew so you are eating what is in the soup before or after drinking the broth.
