Sounds like a theory that needs to be tested. Any Draenei willing to volunteer a tentacle or two?

On the next episode of Delicious in Dreanor … ?

In a certain type of way. :smirk:

Trolls have more meat, come in a variety of flavors, already partake in cannibalism, and they are known for regeneration. I’m not saying anything but facts.

That road of skulls in outland…

  1. They are tendrils, not tentacles
  2. Their tendrils grow from the same place their hair does, meaning there’s probably some shared properties
  3. Draenei aren’t known for their regenerative properties, it can be assumed they don’t grow quick
  4. Draenei need to eat food to remain alive, so your “infinite food” hack already involves someone eating for a few weeks to produce about a hotdog’s worth of tendril, assuming they’re edible at all

Honestly, it sounds about as feasible as trying to live off of your own fingernails.

Draenei tendrils are just empty calories, no vitamins. You’d starve if you tried to live off of them.

Consumption seems generally painful for the one who is being consumed. In addition, people eat about 10x as much as their body weight per year, so it wouldn’t be sustainable at a population level. The average American eats about 1996 pounds per year, according to the U.S. department of agriculture. One person would need to eat about 10-12 other people per year, or much more because people won’t eat bones and hair and such. I imagine Draenei would have the same problem. The good news is our characters seem to never get hungry.

I wouldn’t mind trying a Draenei tendril once, just out of curiosity. I’d rather not recreate Soylent Green (Soylent Blue?) with Draenei however; more something like that time a guy and his friends cooked and ate his amputated foot.
