I’m just going to put this here, and expect nothing. After all if 15 years isn’t long enough to figure this out than the brain drain at Blizzard is real.
Is this a one shot with all towers down?
Well, AV was just ignore towers and rush boss.
Drek’Thar doesn’t one-shot tanks under the intended circumstances. Even with them up he can be tanked reasonably well for a bit if your group is coordinating, that’s where the boss rush strategy came from during BFA.
Unless there is some strange bug that has come out in the last few days, or you mistakenly pulled him with towers up and no gear/support, you shouldn’t be getting one shot by him. If you are, then it’s intended. Either because of gear, poor decision making, or mechanics of the fight (i.e tower buffs)
Historically speaking, most Orcs do one shot races from the Alliance.

idk man, in the Warcraft RTS games they were not one shotting anything unless the blademaster got a rank 3 crit or something.
