How do these work? I have the quests, and am in front of Naralax in Waking Shores (ruby life pools). This coincides with the dreamsurge icon on the map, but when the event should begin, nothing happens? No portal, no new points on the map, and the countdown just restarts. I am probably missing something obvious, but what’s supposed to happen here? Or am I supposed to just fly around looking for the elites? (Again, not on map)
You go to the special dreamsurge icon on the map and complete this (not where you pick up the quests). You also do 3 world quests, and the zone will announce a rare that is charged you can kill for dreamsurge loot as well.
Whichever zone the dreamsurges are in changes the rewards a bit for its respective world quests as well. So it also drops dreamsurge loot basically.
There are various things in the zone, small portals that spawn a mini boss, empowered rares announced ( if you know where to find them) green orbs to fly through.
when the timer expires a portal icon will open on the map you have a few minutes before half the server shows up and murders everything in sight. get there quick and get your hits in to get some loot.
Do it while its fresh before it becomes yet another Forbidden reach, and Zaralek caverns
What if instead of NPC dreamsurge empowered players? And they became raid bosses for pvp or something.
