Dreamsurge coalescence from flying doesn't count for the quest?

I’m picking up dreamsurge coalescence from flying, but I just noticed that it did not progress my 100 dreamsurge quest. Is that intended?

Only if you’re doing it in Valdrakken, from what I’ve read.

I AM in Valdrakken and none of the coalescencses are being counted at all. This has not happened in any past weeks.

That’s because none of the past weeks had the Dreamsurge in Thaldraszus, which is the only reason orbs are even in Valdrakken. :slight_smile:

I also collected them ‘outside’ of Thaldraszus and they STILL did NOT count.

Unfortunate because I haven’t had a single problem with the green orbs collected during flying in the other zones’ Dreamsurge weeks. In fact, 100% of them counted. shrug

Fix it - heck there are identified and logged bugs from 2007 when I first starting playing this pile of slop that they have not fixed. Don’t hold your breath - the outcome is like standing in fire.

Incorrect statement for the current date. In previous weeks, at least two that I am aware of, the coalescences collected in Valdrakken counted towards the quest turn in. Today they are not counting towards the goal. I am certain this is a side effect of them turning off the dream surge stuff whilst in town. May be an unintended occurrence which may get fixed. There are parts of Tyrhold that also do not let the coalescences count towards the quest goal.

Let’s make it clearer…I have multiple characters who get their Dreamsurge from kills but not flying through… and the character I am presently on (a rogue), DOES get quest credit for flying through them.

They seem to have fixed them for Valdrakken. It apparently was a bug.
