Over the last half hour my server voted for the double gold buff. When the half hour ticked over, we got the double gold buff.
Literally a minute later, it swapped to the other, losing buff. This persists across multiple relogs on multiple characters, so I don’t think it’s simply a matter of going onto another shard - nor do I think I would have gone onto a different shard flying across a single zone without getting into any groups.
So I’m assuming this is a bug. If by any chance it isn’t a bug, I think it should be noted that public events to vote for a community buff shouldn’t be a thing if players can just randomly get sent onto a different shard without the buff they originally won.

This has happened to me twice today with the gold buff and it was not even the losing buff I got but another random buff…very frustrating.

Same, not just the gold buff, the REP and XP buff as well. I imagine other buffs are changing but people are not bothered to check. I will also add that the Warmode bonus is not stacking with the effects. Makes getting ganked 100 times even more painful.
Same for me. Have a bunch of rep items in my bags I want to use when buffed. Waited for timer to end and it never appeared.
happened just now sep 18, 2023 830 est on NA, gold buff we voted for came up for like 2 minutes, then vanished and turned into the hibernation buff.
this just happened again, devs probably don’t know what’s the root cause and can’t be bothered since its on a 30min rotation
This has been happening all day today, Nov 8. The gold buff lasts anywhere from seconds to a couple minutes, then switches to another buff.
Still happening btw.
2 Gold dreamsurge buff (magpie) changed to different buff few second after…

This still needs to be fixed, and im also getting random delays as well only in dreamsurge zones.
