Hey guys , i know many of you gonna say that im fanboying way too hard but its actually true lol
I’ve been Swifty fan since WoTLK when i first saw his video dueling againts shadow priests. I had to quit WoW at Cataclysm but i kept watching his and Bajheera’s videos because they inspired me to go to the gym and be more positive 
Few days ago i switched realms, i left my 2 level 60s on Atiesh realm and went to Faerlina. I joined one of my biggest idols guild ( Bajheeras army ) and today i saw that my other idol is online. So i whispered Swifty and said : " Hey man, i know you getting tons of those msgs and im really sorry for bothering you. I just wanted to say that you are my biggest idol and you inspired me a lot. Keep the good work man! " after that he replied to me which shocked me! he said simply " ty " i know for some of you that is not a big deal but for me this means a lot! I dreamed to play on the same realm with Swifty and Bajheera for years! and now i finally can do it and to get a reply from one of my idols! man that made my whole day! I once saw cher getting into a limo in nyc. There was a ton of photographers around taking her picture. She waved and got into the limo.
I just know one of those waves was directed towards me. My dreams of knowing and being best friends with cher were accomplished that day

I used to really enjoy Swifty’s videos back in the day, mainly his LK related content and very early Cataclysm. Also his collaborations with Hotted were a lot of fun.
He’s too much of a clown right now but I can appreciate what he means for the WoW community and I’m super happy you got to interact with him!

I mean people can have idols… For some people Michael Jordan for example is their idol… well Swifty is my Michael Jordan. as i said for some of you it wont be a big deal but for me i wanted for such a long time, and honestly it really made my whole day

Not gunna lie though, I might fangirl a little if I got to play with Laintime. He would 100% have no idea what I’m saying, and I’d have 0 idea what he’s saying, but it would be cool.

I played on darkspear for most of wotlk and have been in many pugs with swifty, was just like any other dude
I dueled sodapoppin over and over on the pvp henhouse for like 30 minutes straight, aside from being noticeably better at kiting than 90% of the druids i lve played against it was just like any other player interaction.
It’s cool to talk to someone you are a fan of but lets not make them out to be gods walking amongst us mere mortals lol

You do know Swifty isn’t just this person’s hero because he’s a YouTuber, right?
Swifty stoked a major lifestyle change for this person by showing what a major lifestyle change did for him. If such a motivation, say, led this person out of a depressive state, then he may qualify as an idol or hero.
I don’t know what leads you to believe that your definition of what constitutes a “Hero” allows you to make assertions on the correct selection of said idol.
