there seems to be one world quest each day that gives ~59 rep.
we get one weekly quest with superbloom and a shipment packing quest.
after getting to 10 renown with questing, you just kind of stop gaining. sad.
Took me a week to get to 10 on my main.
Got on an alt yesterday, today it’s renown 16.
yeah it sucks, maybe theres catchup in next xpac for me to upgrade this legion aug stone to a DF aug stone.
After getting the Head armor at 14, there isn’t any player power from grinding. (the Infinite Augment Rune doesn’t count)
You also get the Enchanted Wyrm’s Dreaming Crest at renown 20, which increases a piece of your crafted gear to 463-476.
It’s much much faster to run 3-4 M+s than to grind Renown all the way to 20 for that.
I am renown 18 after two weeks. If anything, Renown gain was too fast.
I get 2 a day I must be lucky, I agree more world quests for rep.
Planting seeds is silly and pointless if I’m the only one who contributes the drops and pulls weeds, stomp frogs and kill venus fly traps while people just stand around, watch and do nothing.
the only way you did that was to have been uber-prepared when the patch launched with every possible rep buff and when seeds were OP. seeds give 5 renown now.
it isn’t too fast at all.
There were only two possible rep buffs, both of which were pretty easy to obtain. Darkmoon faire 10% bonus, and anniversary 19% bonus. I probably only did around 20 seeds before the hotfix, nothing crazy really.
I’ll be 19 tonight after I kill Fyrakk and get another 2500 rep token.
I’m just shy of 20 on my main, I did the alt thing to 10 and swapped to main but couldn’t bring myself to macro the coins together (the 2500/1000) one. Currently at 1300/2500 19 renown right now. Coulda been 20 had my main also been human (it’s orc).
If you’re grinding seeds you’re a literal moron. Anyone with a speck of a brain realizes after the 5 250 rep seeds just call it a week and wait for reset
Renown another terrible blizzard idea.
Renown is rep…a core WoW system since day one. If anything, renown has improved rep by improving the reward pacing
I think its decent tbh. I’m 14 rn only 6 more to go. 
The tasks of pulling weeds and killing the traps is to collect more Emerald Dewdrops. It doesn’t affect the bloom/seed. People just need to contribute a seed and Dewdrops in order to get anything beneficial out of the bloom when it drops.
You aren’t supposed to grind it out in a week, it’s timegated.
Its such bad design that planting seeds is the only source of rep in the game.
