I completed the questline for the dreadsteed mount on my character Merbayate on Grobbulus-Alliance. When I completed the quest I could not find the steed in my pets page of my Character tab nor as a summonable creature through Spellbook and Abilities. I thought that maybe training my Riding to Journeyman would make it appear, but it did not. Finally, no Warlock trainers show it as a purchasable skill or that I have already purchased it.

same thing happened to me today, guess its a bug if you dont train journeyman before learning it then it just disappears 
(sucks too bc its supposed to give the mount speed upgrade for free)
It looks like if the mount disappears after doing the quest (the simple version in game during wotlk) you just need to wait till the next time you get spells (for me it showerd up at 44) and it’ll appear at the class trainer as a spell you can buy. In the meantime I did buy 100% speed riding, so that might be needed or I just wasted 4-5g.
It wasn’t available at the trainer initially. Hope this helps because I put in a ticket and got told to pound sand.
