If you roll on dreadmist as a priest or mage when there’s a warlock in the group, you should be kicked and blacklisted.
Nah. There’s nothing Warlock-specific about it.
Pretty poor effort troll post. Not only is this armor not class specific, it’s also rubbish DE fodder.
t0 are terrible anyway, better get some shadow damage stuff
WTF is with all you morons telling everyone to let people play how they want and arguing profusely against someone telling people certain things and you defend people playing how they want but then you turn a round and pull this crap of if they don’t do what you say on a roll, kick and or blacklist them.
You’re such a bunch of hypocrites.
if people are going to play how they want THIS INCLUDES HOW THEY ROLL
Knock off the BS
Triggered.
He’s just bored he didn’t get more traction in another thread about the same exact post there.
You realize dreadmist is trash for warlocks aside from the bracers, right…? Freaking retail noobs
You made a troll post about dungeon gear. Go back to retail.
But that hood… if that’s not warlocky I don’t know what is.
And the dungeon sets are very clearly class based. Magister is obviously mage etc etc
And the 6pc does have some pvp uses.
Fel cloth hood blows it out of the water by a mile and then some, though.
Yeah but dreadmist is terrible because warlocks are heavily reliant on spell damage. Spell damage is your highest stat priority because dots don’t benefit from ints crit so int more or less only increases your mana pool.
Heck, health is more important than int while leveling, really. But not more than SP.
By getting the 6pc, you’d be negating so many other gear slots with such better stats for a lock, It’s really not worth it at all to even hunt for. Like I said, the only piece that’s even worth getting is the bracers.
Head - Crimson fel hat > Nemsis after that
Neck - Star of mystaria > choker of enlightenment
Shoulder - Felcloth (Kenetic amice is also pretty good)
Cloak - Sprite caster cape > Sapphiron drape
Chest - Robe of void / winter night (Robe off the last boss in BRD is good too or robe of volatile power)
Bracer - Magister bindings
Gloves - Hands of power
Belt - Banthok sash (this thing is NUTS) Felheart is decent too
Legs - Skyshroud leggings > Nemesis
Boots - Malekis footwraps / omniscast
ring - Maiden circle > ring of spellpower
ring - eye of orgrimmar (this thing is easy to get and GOOD)
Trinket - Briarwood reed (A pain to get, but amazing)
Trinket - eye of beast (easy to get, pretty decent)
Wep - witchblade (Not much better than the dagger out of scarlet monastery which I’ve been using until I got azuresong mageblade)
Offhand - Tome of lost / spirit of aquamentas
Wand - Skul’s ghastly touch
This is the BiS and the > is the next item after that for what’s currently available now in classic.
Ah. You want it for RP. Stack your group, make a guild run. Or just leave it to chance.
I was referring to the model
Red riding hood vs a real warlock cowl.
TBH, i think it’s more stamina, then spellpower. I disagree that spellpower trumps all.
You aren’t generally casting dots in raids due to the debuff limit. What I am doing a lot of in raids is lifetapping.
You’d be wrong, unless you’re only PvPing.
Yup. Spellpower is still better, though.
Welcome to vanilla warlocks. ![]()
felcloth hood is garbo. the hat from UD strat is way better. also if you are using maiden’s signet (a boe) then you have to include the other boe’s that are stronger in their slots than the items you showed, like greens with “of the shadow wrath” for shoulders/bracers/wand/offhand.
edit: crimson felt hat.
You can do that if you’d like. I don’t have to do anything. It’s a generlist guide.
All casters are reliant on spell damage. These sets are terrible for everyone.
Spell Power gives you more mana when you life tap, that’s why it’s your best stat.
if you are going to mislead people, don’t get offended if people correct your mistakes.
I’m not disagreeing that spell power is one of our most important stats, but I do not think it should be taken over all else ie shadow wrath gear with no stats other than shadow damage.
Given the choice between say +36 shadow damage gear, or 25 sta/15int/24sp, I’ll take the latter every time.
