Drakthyr look off

Deathwing’s armies throughout the lore were muscly and beastial. That’s sort’ve what the Black Dragons are known for.

Why would he create a skinny salamander race? They look so off. I think they should add muscle bodytypes closer to other Dragonkin already in the game. Maybe that’s just me, I’m not saying remove the current ones, keep those for those who like it, I just think they should give a bulky/muscly option because they are supposed to be super soldiers after all.

I’m so glad you are the first brave poster to make this concern known.

Trust me, everyone is fighting for bigger body types hahaha

Oh I wouldn’t of posted if I knew that, I just scrolled through the forums and none of the first 100 posts seemed to be about it so I figured I would make my own.

From what we know the dracthyr predate deathwing (aka Neltharion falling to corruption). So they are far less Frankenstein’s monster then his future works (again from what we know)

It’s honestly a little surprising Blizzard didn’t run with that feedback after the announcement. I mean, it was really the ONE sole negative people had were the Dracthyr appearance.

There are an impressive number of options, but I think it’s abundantly clear, a significantly more muscular option is needed.

For the most part it was a bunch of cultists of myriad different races and other dragons.

A Drakonid Allied Race would solve so much. There’s room for both.

oh cool another one of these threads. We get it already, you wanna get close with a thicc dragon. There are websites and conventions for that.

Blizzard really should be hammering away at player customizations, body types, heck revamp garrisons to be player housing, something to give the casual players since they have been ignored ever since legion on world content.

So true on that aspect and hopefully all that staff acquired could help with that

Because the devs lean far-Left politically and love drag queens… so, we get the drag queen race.

At least we’re able to turn off the hair highlights… but that’s also why the dragon forms look androgynous. They’re all into the whole trans and non-binary fad.

I think there’s room for both and it can all be the same race just with a lot more variations to make everyone happy.

That would be akin to rolling Night Elves and High Elves into one race. It would prevent either from showcasing their unique aspects.

Damn those millennial leftists at Blizzard who have never lived one day under nuclear threat making Drag Queen Dragons to fill their woke sky

Smol head.

Yes, the head also needs to be increased by quite a bit…

Well, all of this nonsense is an ideology of luxury that can ONLY exist in a very comfortable country where people have nothing meaningful to worry about.

The second things get real, you don’t hear about ANY of this garbage.

What do you mean ‘Deathwing’s armies’? He was a black dragon supremacist - if you weren’t a black dragon, you were a peon. His early servants were largely goblins, who he made fuse the elementium plates to his body to keep himself from tearing apart.

Why would he create a spellcaster race designed around channeling the dragonflight energies and then also make them turbo beefy for seemingly no reason other than vanity?

Being lithe and agile seems like the bigger benefit for them. After all, he already has his own dragonflight if he wants raw beef power. Having a small, agile spellcaster army would compliment his own dragonflight.

The basic argument that ‘bigger and beefier = better’ is not always true, and nature is proof of that.

(Also as a side note, I am tired of the argument that dragons have to be beef cakes. If you look through real life lore, there are tons of dragons in historical myth and stories that aren’t that big. In fact, dragons were originally just snakes)

A lot of the original dev team were not leftists and this group is yea. But that has nothing to do with this thread.

If I want to see people arguing about politics in a video game I can just go to StarCraft chat or a low pop Alliance server.

How many of Death Wing’s other creations are alive again?
