Hey guess what? Even in OG Cata guilds didn’t have multiple staves. That’s why Firelands remained relevant through the rest of the expansion. Either split your raid and do multiple groups filled with alts or enjoy getting one.
Legendary’s should not be handed out like candy on Halloween simply because one feels entitled to have one.
Who cares.
Well considering that some players believe the staffs in 10-man and 25-man raids should be obtained at the same rate. I would say they do.
It’s a progression server bro let them have their staffs
I’m not suggesting they shouldn’t receive them; I’m simply stating that they should not acquire them as fast as a 25 man would.
10 man raids should take longer then 25man because if they were completed in the same amount of time, then no one would participate in 25 man raids.
But they aren’t equal blizzard already commented on this…
Like what are we even talking about here
That is why they are crying they want them to be equal. They are saying that them not being equal is a form of gate keeping! rofl
I mean let them cry about it nothing’s going to change
If anything should change it should be the drop rate in heroics vs normal. But it is what it is.
finally something smart
Bro, someone in the 25 man will have the staff for 4-5 weeks before anyone in 10 man gets it, do you understand the concept of pooling resources? It’s fairly basic and most children would get it.
For them, it’s not fair because they opt for 10-man raids over 25-man raids. If Blizzard truly intended to gatekeep, they would have made the staff obtainable only in 25-man raids and not permitted its creation in 10-man raids. That would certainly upset many players.
Nah, you are trying to argue that you prefer 25m runs and feel that everyone NOT in agreement with you should be punished for playing a GAME differently than how you want to play it. Why divide an already fractured player base? Why change a timeline when guilds are disappearing like crazy already?
I will never understand people feeling like they have to be the very vocal minority gatekeeping others from playing a game they want to. You dont like 10m? Cool, dont play it. Also, don’t dump on the people that prefer that raid size. They don’t have to be mutually exclusive. You don’t like PVP? Cool, dont play that either. There is literally nothing stopping you from playing with your 25m guild and playing the game you want to play how you want to play it.
I understand your perspective, and I agree that everyone should be able to enjoy the game in the way they prefer. However, there are some practical reasons why 25-man raids have a faster path to obtaining legendaries compared to 10-man raids:
- Increased Coordination and Effort: 25-man raids require significantly more coordination and effort to organize and execute. Managing a larger group of players, ensuring everyone is on the same page, and dealing with more complex mechanics is inherently more challenging.
- Higher Difficulty: The difficulty of encounters in 25-man raids is often scaled up to account for the larger group size. This means that players in 25-man raids are typically facing tougher challenges, which justifies a faster reward progression.
- Group Size and Composition: A 25-man raid team is 2.5 times larger than a 10-man raid team. Additionally, most 25-man raid teams have three times the number of casters compared to 10-man raid groups. This means that the competition for legendaries is much higher in 25-man raids, and to balance this, the overall rate of obtaining legendaries is faster.
- Resource Allocation: In a 25-man raid, the resources (such as loot and legendaries) are spread across more players. This means that each individual player has a lower chance of obtaining a legendary compared to a 10-man raid. To balance this, the overall rate of obtaining legendaries is faster in 25-man raids.
- Encouraging Participation: By providing a faster path to legendaries in 25-man raids, it encourages more players to participate in this raid size, which helps maintain a healthy and diverse raiding community. It also ensures that the effort and time invested by larger groups are adequately rewarded.
Ultimately, it’s about balancing the game to ensure that all players, regardless of their preferred raid size, feel that their efforts are fairly rewarded. It’s not about punishing anyone, but rather recognizing the unique challenges and contributions of different raid sizes.
So nice of you to use your first post to spew nonsense, but cool.
Now crawl back into the cave of irrelevance where you belong.
10m is the meme version of the raid, it’s basically pretend heroic.
It makes sense you get the staffs slower, if you want them faster do 25m which is the harder non meme version of the raid.
There’s like 2-4 posters that are basically owners and masters of the truth. At this point I would consider very little to have an actual conversation with anything of substance. I’ve read it plenty of times it’s the same script.
Pretty boring what cata forums has turn into I guess it’s kinda of the reflection of in game I guess… I havent login in almost a month at this point… I do wonder if FL might change this situation or it’s already a lost ship and it’s mop news wait for most after how they decided to handle FL after a 6 month ghost from the devs…
Of course a new phase is going to bring people back…
Mop won’t be any better
So to get this straight people are arguing time per staff? When it’s proportionally the same drops per player? Where if funneling to one person means 25m should get staffs 2.5x faster? Sounds like it’s working as intended but 10m players want to flip it to make it disproportionate to kill of 25m because they can’t make enough friends.
