I’ve killed Gruul with my guild every week since TBC released and we still have not seen a single Dragonspine Trophy drop. Why does it only drop in GDKP runs and never guild runs?
Why does the new change make 3 tier tokens drop in Gruul’s Lair instead of an extra random drop? DST makes me want to quit the game.
3 tier token drops is a very good thing. I’m thankful that they did that because they certainly didn’t have to.
you don’t need dst to clear the content. 3 tier tokens is to make gearing alts much less painful.

Our guild has 9 of them lol. It helps nobody to know this but…yeah…RNG is RNG…
According to some folks, raiders all have BiS gear in like 6 weeks, where the PvP folks have it rough.

the game is perfectly playable without DST.
It’s only the most coveted and broken dps trinket that is BIS for the entire game for a lot of classes.
DST will not make or break your character. There are plenty of other good trinkets out there. Its honestly just an overhyped trinket. Personally I rather have two on-use trinkets that way I can stack them with Bloodlust and Haste Potion. But thats me.

Would players continue running a dungeon or raid if they don’t need anything from it? What % of players raid log? What % of raid loggers quit when they get their bis? It’s rigged!1!
We’ve gotten 7 of them with a single raid team
Majority of the player base isn’t playing the game at this point to clear content. The content is too easy to really care about ‘progression’ raiding. A good portion of the player base is playing strictly to parse. Not just 99’s either. Top ranking parses. This means if you don’t get your bis items then you’re playing with a handicap.
So your position that you don’t need a DST to clear content misses the mark entirely. You’re still thinking in terms of progression raiders. The content is old, we know all the strats before we go intot he raid. Hardly anyone is here just to clear content. They’re here to get their BIS.
That’s rough man. RNG definitely is a bummer, we’ve only gotten a few ourselves.

Somewhat bad rng but thems the breaks. DST matters less and less with every release anyway. Now you’ve got TT, Madness or DST to choose from, and next phase pretty much everyone will get Zerkers call.
