I found this to be of limited value since the items you get are all 1q. But you actually USE these items when crafting, so you don’t want 1q.

That’s not true of the potions. When you “harvest” them, the item you create doesn’t have a quality level. It’s just “useful.” That’s VERY MUCH worth keeping.

The 1q Eng items … at least on my server, are all like 10-20g. No one wants 1q for anything.

I mean, at this point in the expansion, no one wants 4q! lol Every time I try and advertise/sell in Valdx, the only question I ever get it “can you make 5q?”

You are better off getting the Sturdy Expedition Shovel off the AH for like 200 gold. They have 20 charges. I always have 60 charges in my bags, and they take up only 3 bag spaces.

you can also have a blacksmith make them or buy on the ah - those have 20 charges

YW. When i found out about them, i was very happy lol. Saves a ton of bag space to fill with items from dirt and packs.

The 1q Coils and Gears still sell for 100-200g each on proudmoore.

ANd yes, they sell very fast. Lol.

WQs. Eventually you will unlock more WQs, also the ability to set flags on peaks if you are willing to suffer. Along with 2 “bounty” quests at their camp.

For the hardcore, can run around digging up artifacts if all else fails.

Another dumb question; I flew around Waking Shores for a few minutes and didn’t get a single notification for a pack or dirt. Do I need to be a certain renown or complete a certain quest or something?

Dirt and Scout Packs are the unlimited farm for this rep. Go hunting.

Chances are at some point you are going to be grinding out rep with Wrathion and Sabellian at the Obsidian Citadel for what they can give. Part of doing that is making keys from random kill drops (3 frames + 30 fragments). Each key turned in will give one artifact, and I think the first one for either dragon each week gives several.

It is a long grind, but lots of rare bosses spawn in the area, part of making the keys is to unlock three different rare bosses for the area. During the primalist bit there are at least two additional rare that spawn plus you accumulate elemental overflow for gear.

It can all be a good time killer if you have nothing else to do too lol.

Really don’t know why this is the slowest for me. A lot of people have been maxed out for weeks, but this one is my lowest and slowest to bring up.

I’m really bad at this renown grind.

Or toss a work order up for a blacksmith to fill, especially early in the week when they are trying to get their quota for knowledge.

you have to have them unlocked, and have a Shovel (or 8) in your bags to see the Dirt.

I like to buy shovels from the auction house. About 150g on my server, and they have 20 charges. Seems better than spending the more limited expedition resources.

I buy the 20 use shovels off the auction house because supplies are worth more than gold for me.

You need to do both world quests and quest chains. Also you want to get geared with the shovel and dig treasures since they drop a lot of rep tokens.

Yeah I didn’t realize this at first and couldn’t figure out why I hadn’t seen a dirt pile in a week. lol. The shovel had “worn out” .

In the map, if you click the icon bottom left, you can set to what renown you wanna work on, and clicking the icon again will cycle through everything that gives said rep.
