Yes. You get a daily quest from the anniversary event called “The Originals.” And it has you go around to kill the original world bosses.

Thanks for the chart.

I believe The Originals quest is only able to be performed once a week per toon, not daily. I think the 1st time it appeared, it was a daily, but they changed the quantity of Time Walking badges awarded from around 25 a day to around 150 per week.

I haven’t tried it yet, but according to Wowhead, it’s still daily :slightly_smiling_face:

Players who defeat each world boss have a chance to complete The Originals as well as receive ilvl 64 loot. These world bosses can be killed for loot once daily

I did it on Sunday. It was not available for me yesterday. I wish it was. I really would like to get the Warloads TW wolf mount someday and I don’t particularly care for dungeons so every trickle helps. :wink:

Maybe a bug? But I think it was a weekly last year, so not holding my breath.

It could be Wowhead considers it a daily because it’s a Blue ! and available every day, if not every day each toon.

Dunno! I apologize if I’m incorrect in the Wowhead news info. I could’ve sworn I was doing it quite often last year, though… hmm.

Edit: you are correct! I’m sorry. The quest itself does say:

Type: Weekly

I guess they can be killed daily for loot, but the actual quest it weekly. Apologies! I misunderstood the text of what I quoted. :purple_heart:

I think they’re killing me more than I’m killing them.

I don’t think they drop anything interesting, and their loot ilvl is set to previous years ilvl (I believe). So, do it for fun, do it for the challenge and do it for the quest.

The models for that gear are unique and unobtainable outside of the event. Otherwise, yeah, it’s just for nostalgia. :slightly_smiling_face:
