I downloaded it to give it a go because character customization is big for me and like to take my time with it. A good thing I did too because all it took is 5 minutes for me to realize that the game is terribly optimized for PC. I have a state of the art rig that far surpasses even the ridiculously high requirements they have for the game and it still looked grainy af, it also crashed just a few minutes in. I hadn’t even settled on a hairstyle yet.
I was already on the fence with this game because of having to micromanage those so called “pawns” with the janky AI but now I see what would have been the worst of my concerns. Maybe in a couple months if and when they manage to stabilize the game I might give it a go. For now at least it’s a hard pass for me, I learned my lesson the hard way with Hogwarts: Legacy. At least they managed to fix their game quickly, hopefully this one follows suit.
