Every Single Glyph. Every single Multiplayer race won.
Every Single race with a gold medal. Normal, Advanced, and Reverse.
Every Title Acquired. Can Lap the Isles without slowing down or running out a Vigor, astounded how some people so vehemently hate this system when It’s some of the most fun I’ve had in the game in a good long while.
GIVE ME MORE, BLIZZ!
Give us races and cool routes to fly around in the Old World!
Give us new Dragon Riding abilities.
Give us more goodies to collect.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY LET ME USE THE NEW DRAGONRIDING SYSTEM ON MY OLD MOUNTS
I wanna use a Wind Rider, or a Rocket, or one of my Mechs, not just the same 4/5 Dragons.
For my part I would love if I could use my own wings as a dragonriding mount. Soar just doesn’t cut it. That said, if they let us use old mounts I would at least be able to use my transformation mounts ala Tarecgosa, Sandstone Drake, or Breath of Ohn’ahra
I agree though. Dragonriding is amazing. Every time there is a patch the first thing I do is grab all the glyphs and finish all the races. It’s prolly the only achievement category in the game I actually have all the achievements for. I just love swooping around in the air.
When/if they bring it to old world, I would love if there are courses added in at least the main zones.
Also, Zaralek Caverns is just way too much fun to fly through.
I sometimes imagine the devs creating the race. You know they put that particular branch right in that particular spot just to screw with us. Most likely with a maniacal grin on their face.
Some of us are disabled with hand problems…you try controlling dragon flight when your hands are in stiff braces all day long so your not in high levels of pain or your hands swell up …or some of the motions of dragon riding make your stomach sick…guess we disabled folks don’t count as players.
Honestly, I’m not sure why Blizz doesn’t let you do exactly that. Druids had instant cast flight, DF should be the Dracthyr’s time for this. Can’t think of one single reason why it shouldn’t be allowed.
Don’t play one so I don’t have any skin in the game, but I think it’s a perk you should all have.
Putting words in peoples mouths is not very nice.
I never said those players “aren’t players” or anything like that.
I actually think the absurd level of motion sickness options Blizzard has added is pretty impressive. Being able to put a targeting ring on the center of the screen, to darken or even black out the outer 2/3rds of the screen as well, and turn off the camera motion and vignette effects with dragon riding.
If none of those work for any given player, then I’m sorry but it’s no reason to despise the system as far as I’m concerned. Especially when Blizzard has bent over backwards to compensate for those players.
It’s still a great addition to the game. I want to see it expanded upon, and kept for future expansions.
Your statement now “astounded how some people so vehemently hate this system when It’s some of the most”…you stated we hate the system…no we dislike it and it causes us physical real issues.
Who is “we” in this context?
I never said YOU “Moused hates the system”
But there are some players who just adamantly dislike it for petty reasons.
Physical issues, handicaps, or pain/discomfort is not a petty reason. It’s very valid.
Can I get something that isn’t a Drake? What about one of those Sylverns with the Fox faces?
The Wilderdrake.
And yeah
you can give it a scorpion tail and it kinda looks like a wyvern, but it isn’t really one.
Wyverns are fuzzy, they have lion faces and manes and scorpion tails, snake like tongues, and cat-like paws.
But you can make the wilderdrake be vaguely shaped like a Wyvern.
Fun’s subjective. And you didn’t try to figure out the easy to understand legitmate complaints people have with Dragon-riding, just to focus on your own subjective “fun”?..
It is actually. Kind of a bad look for you if you’re still hyping up and downplaying this problem. Either you’re grifting here, or ignorant.
And i say this as somebody who thinks Dragonriding is just okay. Gimmicky for my tastes and the world quests for it are just pretty uninspired, but it’s just okay. Not worth the hype.
The people who were disabled that can’t use the system?
You subjectively calling it petty, does not make it petty. Infact, you’re coming across rather petty yourself because somebody didn’t like your dragon-riding and being pretty passive aggressive about the people who disliked it for any reason.
…Yet before, you’ve said this, downplaying the vaildity of moused’s issue.
This is not even going to mention that some of the people here don’t have the best of computers, and because it goes so fast, their computer would have to catch up.
This is part of the reason why I quit playing my Evoker. Blizzard advertised it as playing a dragon in World of Warcraft, but then actively tries to prevent you from doing so; no melee and/or tank specialization, reptilian models instead of draconic ones, and they are so asthmatic that they need a five minute breather after flying for one second.
Some of those gold races are bloody hard. About a half dozen that I just can’t seem to squeeze two seconds off that I need. Any suggestions? Other than go faster?
Use “Surge Forward” more than you think you need to. It’s efficient since it only costs 1 Vigor and you can use the speed that it gives you as you take corners without slowing down as much.
The More total time you spend using Surge Forward and the less time you spend just gliding, the better.
Avoid Whirling Surge, I find it to be too inefficient.
