I can’t seem to get my dragonriding skill action bar to save. I place the dragonriding abilities on my dragonriding action bar after mounting my dragon, then upon logging out and back in, the action bar is now empty again.
This only occurs to the dragonriding action bar and no other action bars. I’ve moved spells around on other bars and their location saves just fine when logging in/out.
Only having this issue with one character. Can’t seem to figure out why they’re not saving.
Does anyone have any insight as to what the issue may be?
I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have had this issue since Dragonflight dropped and I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix it. I’ve disabled all addons, reloaded my ui, made sure everything is up to date, put a normal rotation ability on the bar as suggested and when I log back in the dragon riding buttons are still gone but my Avenger’s shield is still on the bar. I haven’t found a single way to fix this problem and it’s rather annoying.
I understand that it’s a new expansion and people will tell me to get over it because it’s an inconvenience or to stop being lazy, etc… and for the most part I just whine about it to my friends but I had hoped that with all the maintenance’s they’ve been doing that this would have been fixed. I guess we just continue to wait as some people are being given anywhere from a 14 to 40 day wait time on ticket responses, but in the meantime, if anyone has a way to fix this issue, I know that I would be incredibly grateful.

5 days and there’s no sign of a solution or root cause. Is anyone tracking this?
I’ve even tried the following steps:
Action bars are empty again.
Same issues. For a bit I was having Skyward Ascent re-adding itself to my bars, now my dragonriding abilities are removing themselves.
Non dragonriding abilities on the dragonriding bar are not affected.
Been having this issue as well. It has only been happening on 1 of my alts though. Tried with and without addons, doesn’t seem to be an addon interaction. Even swapping characters knocks them off the bar. It also takes them off any other bar i put them on. Not just bar 1. So, I’ve been curious if it’s mostly doing it to alts since the alts haven’t been flagged with unlocking the dragons or the abilities and not flagging them for having the skill upon log in/log off.
What was rather interesting is even after it took the buttons off my 3rd bar when I logged in, after I did a dungeon, they showed back up.

Having the same issue with an alt. Followed the same steps above listed by Verthril with no resolution to my issues.
DISCOVERED A WORKAROUND:
Make Macros and place them in your “Dragonriding Action bar”

I am having the same issue, and tried the same steps as others with no avail. I have several characters with dragon riding and this only happens to one of them.
Still having this issue, it only occurred when swapping specs and doesn’t work in Unholy spec.
Use macro’s instead for same spells this is only solution right now i have no idea why it happens i have 2-3 characters on EU that have the issue i dont remember exactly but macro’s fixed it
