Since flying in Dragonflight is done by … well, Dragon-flight.
— Can druids maintain their flightform shenanigans in Dragon-Isles by getting a quest to earn a Dragonkin flight form? Obviously have them be a miniaturized Dragonkin in comparison to the full blown ones, but still … Even if we still have to do the whole Dragon-riding content to ‘Learn how to fly as a Dragon’ – I’d be
% cool with that.
Heck if there’s limited Dragonforms to earn via flightform versus our actual dragon for the Dragon-riding flying - I’m fine with that too. I’ll take what win I can get.

That’d be pretty sick but no doubt you’ll get people in this thread arguing that it does or doesn’t make sense because lore.
It could make sense to the lore if they treated it the right way through the quest. As an example - like Dragons of each flight imbuing the druid with their power along with an artifact of theirs or something a rather.
Keep in mind, Drakonid race aside from being born from dragons can also be created from other humanoid races - from the raw dragon-energies radiating & ascending humanoids into dragon-form. Wouldn’t be too far fetched for the same to be done for druids in a sort of way - but consolidating what energies they’re given: Into a singular form.
Oh they can 100% write in some lore and make it work. I wouldn’t care if they did or not lol, a dragon form would be dope.
I’d care. Good writing makes good foundations for a good game experience. Both in providing content and the enjoyability of the journey.
I quit for about a year this expansion because the story & writing was pretty bad. Rejoined upon the rumours (now confirmed) Dragonflight.
