I miss the convenience of instant-cast flight form while in the Dragon Isles. It would be cool if Druids got a new flight form that was compatible with Dragonflying.

I’d like to see them add a “wild charge” option for flight form…that would work similar to “soar” for drac’thyr…
but other than that, i enjoy my traditional flight

I’m conflicted… I hate dragon-flying, but I really want flight form back. Best case scenario for me would be if they enabled legacy flying in new zones and then simply enabled flight form in it’s existing form. But, a dragon-flying flight form would be better than nothing, which is what we have now.

I am curious if druid forms are going to be included in their update to add dragonriding to the rest of the world or if we’re going to be limited to the no-clip style flying style.
Datamining already shows other mounts getting the updated rigging for it as an option; would be kinda sad to be left behind but that might be the price of insta-mount convenience.

i think part of the issue would be that the “soar” feature would maybe take away from the drak’thyr’s fantasy…since it’s kind of their special version of flight.
but, if they do add more forms (like the Legion Owl), it might be more fitting idk.

Nah.
Dragonriding is way better than normal flight.
Mostly, feels bad to have a dead skill. Monk Zen Flight is in the same category.
The biggest hinderance is that Moonkin already know Flap.

I’m okay with not having druid flight form as dragon riding, but I won’t lie, the idea of my little tiny crow zooming across zones at 900% or whatever would be pretty damn fun. Especially if I could jump off of these mountain tops and go insta-dragon on the way down.

For traveling , yes.
However….
You can’t hover or go afk in the sky.
For that reason and that reason alone, I want to keep them separate.

Not sure I understand the “No”, I wasn’t advocating for a replacement of flight form. I agree a new dragon-riding flight form should be separate from the existing flight form.

We already have flight form and dragon riding. Now you want a dragon riding form……but keep it separate from flight form?
How about we all just cut the crap and say what we really want.

Except they already datamined a stance changing thing for flying? There is a datamined Dynamic flying option. Which would mean people will probably be able to change between flying types at some point in the future.
Why should our flight forms not be included in dragon riding? Because you want to afk in the sky? Cool, good for you. Some of us want to actually be able to use our forms in current content.
