Are they going to change the availability of flying at the start of the expansion until later as has been the case for every expansion in the entire history of WoW? Yes.
Are they also making a form of flying that the vast majority who have actually used it/tried it out have said is very good and an improvement over current flying available from the very start of the expansion, unlike every prior one? Yes.
And lastly have they said that current flying will be available later on for those that may not like the new flying? Also yes.
Actually still praying for a feature that allows for a reduction of the on screen wind effects and noise, that’s what kicks my motion sickness into gear full throttle.
have you noticed that there are dragon/people in D&D???
Dragonborn look very much like dragons standing erect in humanoid form, though they lack wings or a tail. The first dragonborn had scales of vibrant hues matching the colors of their dragon kin, but generations of interbreeding have created a more uniform appearance. Their small, fine scales are usually brass or bronze in color, sometimes ranging to scarlet, rust, gold, or copper-green. They are tall and strongly built, often standing close to 6½ feet tall and weighing 300 pounds or more. Their hands and feet are strong, talonlike claws with three fingers and a thumb on each hand.
The blood of a particular type of dragon runs very strong through some dragonborn clans. These dragonborn often boast scales that more closely match those of their dragon ancestor—bright red, green, blue, or white, lustrous black, or gleaming metallic gold, silver, brass, copper, or bronze.
But sometimes terrain is flat. It makes those “interesting” areas more interesting by contrast. It makes them feel like actual landmarks, not just another setpiece jigsawed into position, the geography informed solely by the requirements of the quest designers.
Missing the point entirely that was being responded too, yes obviously terrain is sometimes flat, or hilly, and can even be most of the time.
The entire point was the post being responded to was saying that having any ‘difficult’ terrain is purely artificial difficulty/terrain abuse, which is obviously not the case for having actual varied and interesting terrain that isn’t flat/slightly hilly 100% of the time.
eh…I just dont see this particular company putting that kind of work in on OLD mounts…know what i mean?
They dodge everything else…jesus christ…that ‘IN COMBAT’ bug is StILL a thing for god sake. lmao…easily fixed with a toy that removes us from combat once an hour…BOOM…‘fixed’…years later…nothing.
Ive had to log out and wait for the thing to give up the ghost many times.
They cant even deal with the small stuff…I dont ever see them doing all those animations for all those old mounts to look cool with dragon flying
You know, I used to hate the Barrens.
I dont know what happened but at a point they started being on the list of favorite zones to play in, like Winterspring
Yeah people complaining about dragonflying have never played GW2.
I’m not recommending people go play GW2 to experience the griffon- since this whole thing is what it’s similar to (read: similar, not copying) but I feel it would give them an insight on what to expect.
Watch how many haters here will start praising it early next year if (big IF) it lives up to the Griffon.
No, they are letting people ride their gimmick. OP wants to know if they can fly their favorite mounts from the start and the answer is no. If you don’t want to ride their gimmick, you’re out of luck.
I mean, I absolutely recommend people play Guild Wars 2, because the mount system used in that game is superior to WoW and if Blizzard takes anything from that game it should be that and the mastery system so that they no longer have to worry about level squishes and stat squishes.
